My Journey with Assam Engineering Institute

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course and curriculum is in accordance with the latest AICTE pattern and is designed in order to increase our practical as well as theoretical knowledge and skills. The course follows the basics of civil engineering and gradually moves to the more advanced subjects, giving us enough time to grasp our concepts.

Placement Experience :

There are a few companies that came to our institute for summer internship and a lot more companies turn up for the placement drives. Our placements are not the best but it is certainly not the worst either. Deserving students get placed in good companies on campus with a decent package.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Another good thing about the college is its fee which is one of the most affordable you can find when compared with other institutes providing diplomas in civil engineering. The annual fee will cost you less than 25 thousand which is not that heavy on anyone's pocket who is looking for a bright future in engineering.

Campus Life :

There are many societies with active members, like dramatics society, robotics society, fashion society and literary societies. During the annual cultural meet, students from different colleges come to participate in our college fest which is like the grand event.

Admission :

For seeking admission to the college, I had to take an entrance test which they call as Polytechnic entrance test. The good thing about AEI is that only candidates from Assam can apply for the admission in here which cuts down a lot of competition. The process of admission is also pretty simple. After clearing, we just have to visit only once for documentation process and securing the seat.

Faculty :

The faculty is really nice and helpful. Even after the college hours, they were willing to have a doubt session, which is the thing I really admire about them. They are like buddies to us and keep a close eye on us as to how we are following along with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose philosophy as my major course as I want to learn about the things we experienced and the way they are the curriculum prepares me well enough to overcome in my day-to-day life I haven't faced any need for improvement in the teaching method. Exams were indeed a difficult task as a student, we hardly had a week to prepare ourselves for the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

history is interlinked with all subjects. It describes the social formation, decision and mistakes that shapes the world. it gives moral values and mistakes that shouldn't be carried out again. The subject is very interesting and should be considered once.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am truly satisfied with my selection of course and effect we have a smart biotech lab with all modern amenities which will help the students to practice lab work and carry out research works as well. Other than that exam timing is being decided by the university authority and it is perfectly dated for the student's ease

Course Curriculum Overview:

About the course curriculum, I still wonder why they have to put science subjects on the course curriculum of arts students. They would say it's a basic course but it is definitely not. Those arts students came there to learn their main subjects. I think it is unnecessary to put sc subjects there plus it is not basic. Otherwise the main subjects' curriculum is pretty well organised and planned.
