Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is updated well on time. MSc Chemistry has a semester system, so we have four semesters in our academic calendar. The course though lacks the industry exposure which can be improvised by the authorities.
Placement Experience :
In terms of placements, the college I would say is not good. Placement committee hardly brings placement. Usually, students get off-campus placements and that is with their own effort or through their networks.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
We have fees of Rs 3450 which is too low for a masters course. This is possible because we are studying in a central university. If fees is a concern for you, then you won't have any issue here. It is super cheap for MSc.
Campus Life :
As we are in a university atmosphere where there is a confluence of students of all streams. There are ample opportunities in the form of Youth fests, NCC, NSS, etc that one can take part in and even go on to represent the university at the zonal level.
Admission :
Admission at our university is on the basis of an entrance test. Application forms are available online usually by the month of April, admit cards are released in 2nd/3rd week of May and exams take place in the month of June. Shortlisted candidates appear for interview.
Faculty :
The university was lifted to the status of a central university in 2009 and hence maintains well-qualified faculties. If you are keen to learn, faculties definitely solve the queries and doubts. Because of the small batch size, it is very easy to approach the faculty.
