COLLEGE REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was updated as per the latest trends in the market. Our college is one of the pioneering colleges to offer an MBA in Business Analytics. For the first two semesters, we learned about the general MBA subjects like management and financials of a company.

Placement Experience :

Our college has an impeccable placement record. From LAST batch, 90% of the students were placed. Some also went for their own ventures or to join their family business. The highest package in our institute was around 34 LPA which is on par with some of the best B-Schools in India.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time BBA Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute. My total course fee was ?77,625 , which was to be paid on a semester basis. The fee structure was expensive for me but the facilities they provided us were exceptional.

Campus Life :

There are many other facilities available for the students like gym, sports, library, cafeteria, auditorium etc. Cluster University of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir has a good facility and placement records. The University is a good choice for the candidates living there as it provides all the courses at minimum cost and with multiple scholarships too. The campus is completely secure with 24*7 security facilities.

Admission :

Admission to various academic programmer of the University PG Schools and Constituent Colleges for the Academic Session shall be made jointly on the basis of academic merit and Cluster University Entrance Test. Admission shall be conducted through Entrance Test and on Merit Basis.

Faculty :

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. The big data faculty panel was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:5, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The content of the course is very much relevant to the field of study. The course curriculum is strictly derived from the AICTE'S directions. The teaching method in the college is traditional using the board method. But from past some time, the smart boards have been provided in almost every department, but in some classrooms the smart boards are still missing. The exams are held after fixed time intervals. The dates for sessional exams are fixed by the heads of the department and their timing is 1.5 hours. The finals are held per b University rules and are of 3 hours duration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest in Mathematics. There is no shortage of faculty. (For example- In our practical class we always have 2-3 teachers). All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method is quite good. Our college follows a semester system(I.e. semester exams occur after every 6 months). One has to work hard to qualify for this semester exam.

Admission:

To get admission in Cluster university of Jammu, you need to get good scores in the CLUJET entrance exam held by the college. The process for registration is entirely online and is pretty simple. Some course also consider the merit, but it varies from course to course.

Placement Experience:

There is much scope for improvement in this area. There are job fairs and such organised but they are few and far in between. They provide us with enough resources for getting a good job, such as certifications so it is not much of a big problem.

Remarks:

I have one negative remark for my college is that the extra curriculum should be taken more seriously as there is no indoor sports complex and no auditorium for different event for our college. College should adopt relative marking grading structure.
