My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview :

In this course as I told there are only 66 seats . The course is off 4 years which are devided into semester groups . You will have 8 semester 2 semester per year .

Placement Experience :

Around 80% of the students got the job from college. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Adidas, Reliance, and Aditya Birla visited the campus for recruitment. Above 65% of the students got internships

College Events :

Many type of events are held in this college like Knowledge Festival 2020. Run for the cause , "save girl child" , A seminar by All India Rubber Industries Association (Northern Region). INSIGHT TO INDIAN TEXTILES.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for this course is around 2 lacs per year . I would say it is reasonable course fee this type of college . You have to submit the fees semester wise.

Campus Life :

All type of students are here in this campus there is no religious bullying or something like that . No political issues are here and economics status is good .

Admission :

I got admission in this college bye scoring good marks because there are only 60 seats available for this course so you have to try your best to achieve good marks as possible. You also have to give the fddi entrance exam .

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is very good with quality professor and teaching staff. They will teach you in such a manner that you will not have to take any extra classes what's the subjects but you have to be attentive in the class

Placement Experience:

As Of my knowledge there are close to no 'direct' placements for bachelors in industrial design form VIT Vellore. I talked with some seniors, they told us about previous batches and if you go to a company by your-self , you can get a placement of 8-12 per annum easily.

In the last semester placement offers come up l. The placements aren't extremely great and only a few get very good packages but the average package is not bad. You can also get a very good placement from your internship and continue working there itself.

The placement is centralized meaning you have to go to Noida (the headquarters) to get placed. placements for the fdp course is good and the packages also vary from 6-8 (for fdp) and 4-6 for fd department, there's a 100% placement record.

Placement Experience:

For this particular course, the placements are 100%. The number of companies visiting would be less. But every student from this course gets jobs after completing their studies. The average package would be 4 lakhs per annum. My plan is to get placed in a big company, gain experience and start my own business.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. The placements we get are purely based on our performance in college. The companies that visit our college for placements are IBM, TCL, etc. The highest sale package as per the company offered is 12L per annum. The percentage of students getting placements is 70- 80%

Placement Experience:

NIFT has centralised campus placement. We can sit for placement in our last year of college. NIFT placement percentage drastically reduced recently, but what you get completely depends on your quality of work. We'll probably get many options since NIFT is a prestigious institute, a large number of companies come there for recruitment. I don't have any plans yet, I'll probably get a job first and then think of how I want to go further.

Remarks:

The college is a top-ranked college in terms of architecture. The infrastructure of the college is at par with the standards which should be there in an architecture college. I have many fond memories of the college. The standard of teaching and placements are pretty good.
