About DOT School of Design
DOT School of Design, established in 2020, is a multi-disciplinary design college affiliated with Alagappa University, Karaikudi. The institute offers UG and PG courses in the field of Design. The most popular courses of the institute include a 4-year full-time B.Des course in 5 specializations and a 2-year full-time M.Des course in 3 specializations. To be eligible for admission to the DOT School of Design, candidates must appear for an interview and obtain a valid score on DOT Design Aptitude Test (DOT-DAT). The Institute also provides scholarships up to INR 1 Lakh.

Campus infrastructure at the institute is designed to train and inspire students. The institute has well-equipped labs having powerful hand tools (Drillers, Grinders, Sanders, Hand tools) and CNC lab with a CO2 CNC Laser Cutter, 3D Printer and Foam Cutter for the students to experience their hands-on the new technological method of production.
