Remarks :

College management is very good. Every possible help is provided by college.But we all know that noting is perfect. There is always some spaces which slipped.

Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE-2013, AIR 1736, Closest to homeother then this I took AIEEE, BITSAT, RPET although my score in all examination was quite promising, I choose IIT because it is the best engineering college in India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT Delhi changed the curriculum from the the year 2013, so that it was a bit hard to understand as seniors were of no help at all. There are things which are still not fixed but administration is doing whatever it take to make things good.

Internships Opportunities :

I have not done any internship yet, So actually I can't say about it much. Stipend vary a lot from nothing to upto 75000. Depends on company from which you got offer.

Placement Experience :

They are quite good almost every student get placed but the average package is not very high, as media reports the highest package but not the average package people think that everyone in IIT got that amount.

College Events :

We have four main fests:Speranza: Hold in mid September.Literati: Hold with Speranza. Rendezvous : Held in October. The cultural fest of IIT Delhi Tryst: Held in every February. The technical fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If you belong to SC or ST category then you have 100% tuition fee rebate and for all others you have to pay around 1, 00, 000 fee for the college for every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility is offered by SBI IIT Delhi branch which is very good other then this college offers mainly two type of scholarships 1. MCM which is based on parental income2. Donor Scholarships: Which have various terms and conditions as set by the donor.

Campus Life :

For sports and extracurricular:If you have some training in your school life then they are for you. If you think you can start from absolute zero and will top the college then you are day dreaming.For competitions: you can start from zero.

Hostel Facilities :

Worse. It is the best institute in India for engineering but the hostel facilities are of very poor level. And the mess food is so bad that even I don't want to talk about it.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Quite astonishing network of seniors. Every student was provided a mentor in the first year of college and the mentor was very helpful. Various alumni meetings are organised in college fests.

Exam Structure :

Very hectic schedule for labs and exams. Almost every month we have Exams. Four labs in five working days.

Faculty :

Overall faculty is good because there many teachers love to teach and we love to learn but some teachers are not that good, they have knowledge of particular subject no doubt, but at the time of teaching they are not that good.

IIT DELHI INSIDE STORY

Placement Experience:

All the big Mncs and heavily paying firms come to our college . Most of then are open for every students. But some only open for top branches. Placement are best in iits but some students go for UPSC and other for MBA or higher studies , so the percentage drops.

The college placement record is superb. The placement was the main reason for me to be part of the college. The college management and placement committee work together to improve the placement quality and standards of the college. The college manages a record of 100% placements. The highest placement offers were around 55 LPA and the average placement record was around 18 LPA. I also received a placement offer of 21 LPA.

The campus Placements of our college is excellent. My aunt was the teacher in this college and my jee rank was good so in my jee rank i got the best college and its fees is less so there was no prblm. And there is strictness for studies. The students should have 75%attendence.

Placement of this college is too good as avg is 11 lakh per annum so the college as the mass recruiters like infosis and amazon and flipkart and byjus come in our college to give job to our honourable students the avg income of mechanical student from mait is 20 lakh per annum
