Remarks :

My overall college life is awesome till now because of the great faculty support, good infrastructure, practical based learning approach and the placements records. Overall the campus life is one of the best they not only teach engineering but also teaches us how to survive and conquer as engineers in real life. It is an unforgettable journey in this college and I fell very proud to be a part of such institution.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is regularly updated and are mainly focused on industry standards. The subjects are very interesting and carried both theory and practical subjects. I learnt about various parts of mechanical engineering topics and the practicals helped me gain some experience of how a mechanical engineer does his day-to-day jobs. The case studies, as well as numerical, are also part of our curriculum. The examination structure for a particular semester consists of three internals and one semester exam at the end of the semester.

Placement Experience :

According to previous year's records 78% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs.6,00,000/- per annum, the lowest salary being of Rs. 2,40,000/- per annum, Average salary was Rs. 4,00,000/- per annum. Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, Alstom, Asian Paints, Bajaj, L&T, etc were the top recruiters which recruited most of the students as Assistant Engineer, Technical Designer, etc. More than 35% students got internship from the top level companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In total, the four years of study costs near about Rs 2,00,000/-. This much amount is feasible for me as per semester I have to pay only Rs 25,000 - 30,000/-. The low costs is beneficial for the students coming from not so good economic background. Also there are various merit-based and need-based scholarships granted to the students.

Campus Life :

Every year our College organises lots of events. Expect that we celebrate traditional functions like Pongal, Diwali, Onam.etc. Cultural programs include dancing, singing, drawing competitions. Also science fairs, book fairs are also held at our College campus. Tech Fests are also organised on a yearly basis. All sorts of sports and games like basketball, football, cricket and all other indoor games are also played in tournaments.

Admission :

I got admission in this college through government merit counselling which means I was selected on the basis of my 10+2 marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry mainly. Then I needed to select college that is available for my percentage and I got this college. There they gave me a college conformation letter, that I submitted to the college and got enrolled.I always wanted to become a mechanical engineer because I love mechanical works, large machines and locomotives, designing of machines and automobiles. The best thing that I love about Mechanical engineering is that I got to know the working of a machine which we use in our daily life like for transportation. Apart from the main courses, we were entertained with other extracurricular activities without disturbing our main course.

Faculty :

The faculty here are very knowledgeable and has a good experience on some field like design, manufacturing, etc. Most of the professors have a PhD in their fields of expertise and are really great teachers to learn from. Our department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty team, state-of-the-art Infrastructure for various laboratories, a well-equipped seminar hall, Wi-Fi enabled classrooms to support e-learning with Projectors and a department Library. The faculty encourages us in many ways apart from curriculum. The faculty also helps us to do the project or any activity related to the academic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The physiotherapy has a wide range of opportunities after completing the bachelors either you can go for masters or work at hospital as physiotherapy or you can be working as an independent physio and treat the patients at their home, or you can start a clinic and can manage that. The physiotherapy is growing field that has a good future . You'll be good physio if you diagnose your patients correctly, if you follow the doctors prescription you will be technician. In this college the patients are less and the teaching quality is worst , you'll need to work at clinics to get a idea about everything. The college only teaches theory but not practicals

Placement Experience:

The placement here is pretty good , we can get internships from 3 rd year onwards but the placement is after 4th year . The highest package offered here is 1.08 cpa The average package offered here is 6 lpa And if you want to get a good enough package here you will habe to study. Hard and be productive in coding it will be best if you maintain a higher cgpa than 8 . Many companies come here like amazon, google, tcs and many more.

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Artificial Intelligence and data science as I was veey much interested to learn about AI and I believe that this course has a lot of scope outside. In my college they do provide a good curriculum for this course that teaches things from the basic to advanced level. The difficulty level of exams is a bit high sometimes but if we maintain a good score overall it will be easy to pass.
