Review of Administrative Staff College of India

Course Curriculum Overview :

This is a two year program in which we are made to learn the general management subjects and skills in the first year and hospital-related subjects in the second year of our studies. We can get benefitted a lot through this course.

Placement Experience :

Almost every student gets placed in our course and the companies we receive are Deloitte, Allscripts, Primera, Fortis healthcare, Apollo hospitals, etc. Salary packages are good and it ranges between 5-7.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The entire course costs up to 5,00,000 approximately to pursue. Annually, the amount of fee that has to be paid comes around 2.5 Lakhs and a few students feel this to be somewhat expensive while this fee is worth it for the quality education they offer.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our institution has several scholarship programs to offer to those students who really deserve the benefits of it. Some of them are, t those students who are academically outstanding, students from northeastern states, etc.

Campus Life :

We never fail to celebrate republic day and independence day every year. Also, we conduct fresher's day for the juniors and organize farewell for the seniors while they are departing the college as a goodbye to them.

Admission :

I applied for this course with my XAT score and after some days, I got informed to attend the interview for further process of admission. I did well in the interview and got selected for the course & proceeded with the admission procedures.

Faculty :

Our staff is enriched with immense competence in the field of hospital management or management in general. They are very friendly, calm, and also very supportive of the students in every way possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty easy to cope up with , so that u get more time to prepare for other exams. Curriculum is prepared in such a way that it makes u ready to appear for gate and other similar exams. Provide more technical knowlegde related to subjects mentioned in the gate syllabus. There are 2 class test exams and then one final semester exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

mbbs has always been my dream job, my dad is a doctor and I like how people respect him, and consider him in society so basically i never had an option other than mbbs in my life. The curriculum hopefully prepares me well for the real world. They do have skills lab classes where they teach resuscitation or suturing which is helpful in the real life, so hopefully it works out at the end.

Placement Experience:

The college gives good placements for mostly all of the branches and you can get an average package of 12 lakh per annum. Getting a placement in civil might be difficult unless you study hard and do some good internships. Mechanical and computer science has good placements compared to other branches

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I'm studying is Disaster Management. The course structure is perfect with knitting our knowledge in disasters both in scientific aspects as well as social aspects. The GIS course is really appreciative as this will be further useful fo us students as a future disaster manager. Though the field practices are less, we will be having a project only semester during our last sem.

The campus interview is useful to all students. Intelligent and hardworking students only placed the campus interview. The 75 % above students only get the placement. I get the degree after my plan is I open my own software company.

Remarks:

Hostel and infrastructure is not well maintained owing to the funding issues from the government. The government does not think much about the welfare of the students as they recruit at very less frequency which is forcing the students to look for alternatives in other states.
