Remarks :

I am definitely enjoying my college life as the faculty and the student crowd is very friendly in nature. The college is situated in a beautiful location with good infrastructure that provides a pleasant experience every day. After all, for every student his/her college life is precious and KMC can be the best place to gain knowledge and also meet amazing people.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Other than teaching and skill enhancement in their course structure, the college plays a great role in enabling its students to actually learn. The college makes sure that students come together with their own experiences and abilities and get a chance to take that blend and transform into better versions of themselves in every way. Therefore, during the course, the major focus is on research. Exams and labs are frequent and might become hectic at times but it helps us to push ourselves and become confident in what we learn throughout the course.

Placement Experience :

As such, there is no placement as it is a medical college. However, the college provides great internships with a stipend of around Rs 10,000 per month for one year. Students also get an opportunity to work as assistants and prepare for PG simultaneously. You will gain a lot from your internship experience and get firsthand experience in every aspect with the required tools and technology required.

College Events :

Yes, it is true when people say that gone are those days when college life was only about academics. Life at KMC, not only provides its students the facilities to attend lectures and write exams but also engages and prepares them to face the real world. The various college fests boost students? confidence and encourage them to participate and showcase their talent. The events are organized by various department and all the students can participate and win.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

To be honest, the fee structure is expensive but it is definitely worth the exposure and facilities you get. At the beginning of the academic year itself, fees for the lab, lecture fees, and all other charges are taken in a single installment. The fees for the first year is around 5.8 lac while from the second year, it is around 5.6 lac.

Campus Life :

KMC celebrates many 'days' like AIDS day, World Health Day, Organ Donation Day, etc. And all these days come around as opportunities to showcase extra-curricular talents. Furthermore, there are intra-college competitions like cricket or football matches, quizzes, poster making competitions, etc organized by different departments. The departments also organize CMEs, where students are expected to anchor and volunteer as these are basically seminars where renowned doctors and other experts in their respective fields are invited to discuss.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are nice. The boys and girls hostel has one block at present and accommodates more than 100 students. Each room is well-furnished with amenities like a bed with storage, a mattress, a cupboard, and a study desk. Both the hostels have their own gym, indoor sports, common rooms that have a T.V There is a well-designed dining hall, highly equipped with modern and mechanized kitchen.

Admission :

The whole admission process was quite demanding but easy. I applied to the college online by filling up a form and uploading the documents that were required. The next step in the selection process was the common entrance test. As my NEET score was also decent, I waited for the merit lists to come out on the college?s website. After I got shortlisted in the second merit list, the last step was to get my documents verified at the college. But all of this went smoothly and I got the admission.

Faculty :

In the three years, I spent at KMC, I have got a brief idea about how a student?s life is on the campus. The faculty is very much qualified and the lessons taught by them last throughout. The faculty helped me gain the confidence to sail through the storm smoothly while forming the base for my PG clinical practice. I can say faculties likewise fill the place of our role models.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.

Remarks:

We had an excellent management team who was listening to all our issues and try to find a solution for them.

Admission:

Entrance Exam. During 1991 there was an entrance examination conduction at all India level and the admission was provided on the entrance exam score. After we have been selected for this course, there will be a small interview process to understand the candidate's attitude and passion. Admissions provided based on the above factors.

Admission:

After giving the entrance examination called NEET, I apply to this college through their official website where the application form was available and got enrolled for the MBBS course. I was called upon the counselling session and got selected. This selection was purely on the basis of merit.

Placement Experience:

The jobs were organised at the end of last year, since it is a professional course the job but easy to get and we could apply at any hospital. The college?s hospital used to conduct its own interview sessions and most of the students were placed at the campus itself. Many opted to apply at AIMS, Maulana Azad. All of the students used to get placed with an average package of Rs.7 lakhs per annum.
