Sri Ramakrishna institute of technology is an autonomous college in Coimbatore. the college is located in a perfect location where we can learn,work, and adapt without any stress. and the infrastructure is also excellent. classes five us as a good ambience with fresh air and light. excellent faculty members who are supportive and are available for students at anytime. they have a well planned academics with excellent syllabus. apart from academics students are also encouraged for other extra curricular activities. excellent and 24 hours lab facilities. well hygiene cafeteria with almost all refreshments. separate hostel for both boys and girls and it is well maintained. hostel mess is also kept hygiene with different and healthy food menu. overall clean and well maintained campus. excellent placements with top companies. the college has a good transport facilities. the college has more than 20 buses. students from any region will have bus facility. overall students will have a bright

Course Curriculum Overview :

i choose this course of my own opinion but all courses are equally valuable here. faculties are well qualified and teach us like more than a friends. their train us in a way that almost all will easily pass the exams

Internships Opportunities :

my college offers internship opportunities on campus. students have got their internships at most reputed companies.

Placement Experience :

from 3rd year one will be eligible for placements. there are hundreds of companies visiting every year and almost all students are getting placed. percentage of students getting placed is above 95%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fees are more affordable than any other college.

Campus Life :

my life at the campus was so wonderful. we have annual day functions, sports day function, Pongal celebration, Onam celebrations, teacher's day celebrations, etc.. they conduct many tech fests too like department wise symposium that we enjoy a lot. the library has a lot of books and journals with computers. students are encouraged more for sports and extracurricular activities. other than that we have received many awards for NSS, YRC, etc

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
