Remarks :

First of all the college gives a disciplined environment. The education is not only for marks, they motivate the students to bring new innovations. More than placement and marks they focus on more projects which make one to stand by own. We have celebrated all functions is a descent way and culture. They encounter the students in all way to social service, donation,sports, talent contest etc., There will be no difference in general they treat all equally and always give a special care for women students as well.we don't face any ragging and we felt very safe. The staffs are very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall it's an best option for the ug studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen EEE by my own interest. This is the department where we cannot Score marks by mugging. The staffs and very well versatile in teaching and they motivate us in all aspects. No domination or partiality is shown to bay single person. The teach us all the basics to advance level in a well manner.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are really good but as i am EEE student I didn't get much drive opportunities. cse it ECE departments have good placement count

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is affordable comparing to all other standard engineering colleges

Campus Life :

We have two libraries with e-service. We can get all the books we need from library itself. Every year for all departments we will celebrate two separate fest inauguration and symposium. Then we will celebrate women's Day in grand manner, pongal, Onam etc., We also have a talent club where they conduct a show a day in a year

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
