A joyful journey

Remarks :

SRIT is a place of knowledge and bliss. SRIT has provided me a wonderful environment and opportunity to learn and grow myself academically as well as to secure a place in the corporate with its best placement services. The reason for preferring this college is it had very good academic reputation and the college's graduates get good jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The future prospects of the EEE graduates are very wide and bright. It means there is a lot of jobs for electrical engineering. The faculties at SRIT always focus on student's career goals with proper guidance based on the students strength and passion. The teaching method includes visualization, experimental learning, class discussions and more. 3 internal exams will be there per semester and if we have a good plan and schedule, it is easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

I have attended the offcampus internship in BSNL company where I learned a lot of technical things. College will be offering many companies for Internship from which we can choose.

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year onwards, the students are eligible and they will be trained for the upcoming placements. Many corporate companies and core companies will be there for our placements. I am currently working as a programmer analyst in cognizant technology solutions, which I got placed through the on-campus recruitment in our college. 100% placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure differs based on hosteller and dayscholar and it is affordable. I am currently working as a programmer Analyst in Cognizant Technology Solutions which I got placed through the on-campus placement recruitment in our college.

Campus Life :

Cultural will be there where the students can expose their other cultural talents. Many tech fests such as symposium and other events will be conducted by each department. There are lots of books and journals available in the library which we can refer at any time. Huge, airy classrooms with good aeration and natural light overlooking gardens. All the basic amenities needed for the college are available in SRIT. Many social clubs are available in which I have been in a Gender championship club.

Hostel Facilities :

Al the basic facilities are provided in a room. CCTV cameras at the entrance of the hostel. Solar panels installed for hot water. The quality of food in mess is hygienic, nutrient and of good quality. The registration process is quite easy and Hostel fees is affordable.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
