Remarks
This college is undoubtedly one of the best colleges in Hyderabad in terms of infrastructure, cultural activities, and sports. The teaching is average as there is a mix of experienced and inexperienced lecturers. For the admission first, you have to fill the application form I.e for 600 and then there will be an entrance test and if you pass through that with more than 50% then there is a personal interview and if you are selected you have to pay the full fees by the next day.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course i.e Bcom honors is one of the oldest courses of Loyola and the placements are good for this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50-60 and the faculties are a mix of experienced and inexperienced ones and they mainly use chalk and board method and classes also have a projector for presentations and seminars. There are many exams we have weekly, mid sem, prefinals, viva, seminar, and project this helps in all-round evaluation of the student. And the difficulty is the average for the exams.
Placement Experience
From semester 5 a student is eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Deloitte, jp Morgan, cognizant, Qualcomm, ICICI, HSBC, dell visit the college. The lowest package is 2lpa and the highest is 5.50Lpa and the average is 3lpa. 85% of the students are placed and some have plans to study further. I've got a job in Deloitte(3.30LPA) and I'll continue with the job.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fees hike, from 1st year to 3rd year our fee was 59500/- we have got a huge library where we can borrow books and they also have a scholarship for students who cannot afford to pay the fees and are not financially stable.
Campus Life
There are many fests in our college approximately 2 fests in a month, they are so much fun and the best annual fest is called resonance where the fest is for 3 days which means 3 days of dance, drama, singing, band, food, etc and no studies that's the best part of Loyola. They give a lot of importance to sports and many students who play really well are not charged any fees. There are many clubs like the drama club, quiz club, singing club, etc and the students have a page on Instagram by the name inside Loyola. The classrooms are built very well and are spacious and have great ventilation.
Interview Experience
We have an interview after the Entrance test. My course was bcom honors so our questions we based on accounts, maths, and economics and they were related to our curriculum of 11th and 12th.
