Review of FAAMCH Barpeta

Our college is the best government college though it is situated in a small town Barpeta. The people here are dont like us to enjoy college function. The hospital gives the best treatment to its level.

It is a 4. 5 year course after which we have to do compulsory Internship duty for 1 year and rural duty for 1year. There are 4 main exams throughout the course namely- MBBS 1st professional exam after 1 year of admission, MBBS 2nd prof. Exam after 1. 5 year and than MBBS 3rd prof part 1 and 2 exam after 1 year simultaneously. The are theory classes as well as clinical classes that occurs in the hospital where we can interact with tha patients of different disease.

As it a government medical college, there is no such placement but we have to do compulsory internship in our own hospital for 1 year and rural duties for 1 year.

In September every year we celebrate freshman social day in which we celebrate the newly admitted students and get introduced with them. In February every year we give farewell to seniors leaving the college. And on march we celebrate the our medifest XCLEPIA and sport weak in which cultural program, dance, singing, sports, painting, gaming, and many more event occurs.

At the starting we have to pay RS. 20000 admission and then every year we have to pay Rs 8000. The fee in highly feasible. We have to pay mess dews of 1800 every month. As govt college there is minimum fee problem and it is feasible even to the poor students.

As I am general in have not got any scholarship, I have got education load through State Bank of India.

We live in very friendly nature with juniors and senior play games together such as cricket, football, vollyball, batminton, table tennis. We our juniors in studies and enjoy together. Our college have 60% boys and 40% girls. Various competition such as painting, singing, dacing, debate, pubg, photography etc occurs at the time of xclepiA.

Yes, I live in the hostel of our college in a room with 1 roommate. The hostle is average in living condition but as a government college hostle it is not bad. It has security 24 hours. We are provided with water supply hygienic washrooms.

The seniors visits us and we arrange program for them in our hostel and enjoy with them. There are no such alumni network officially.

I cracked the MEE entrance exam, than in state quota I have been selected on 20 october 2017. They check for all the documents such as PRC, caste certificate( if applicable), the mark sheet and admit of HS and HSLC. The counselling happened in the office of the director of medical education, six mile, guwahati, assam.

Most of the faculty are highly interactive and prepares slides for the theory classes. In the clinical classes they teaches us how to interact with patient and make them comfortable to speak and examine. In theory class they tries their level best to make us understand their topic.
