It's a good and one of the best colleges in the city (Chennai).
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this college the portions are to the extent updated than the other colleges in this university as this college is an autonomous to the University of Madras. Campus placements are conducted in a regular basis and making the students ready for the placement interview.
Placement Experience :
As I am a 1st year student I dont know the companies' name for sure. But from what I know management cares and help students in getting placed in the companies.
College Events :
Sangam - This was the most awaited before corona but unfortunately it doesn't happened this year. VBazzar - This is to entertain the upcoming entrepreneur to have a idea of starting a business. In this students are allowed to start a stall of their own and the profit they earned are given to the students itself.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The college fees can be paid through online banking or in the bank. The college shows much transparency in the fee-breakdown. The fees are so feasible to everyone. There is no additional fees/charges had to be paid to secure an admission. The admission is only based on merit list.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan. But the college provides scholarship program to students.
Campus Life :
According to me the gender ratio will be 4:3 i. e, boys:girls. Everyone is treated as the same for the most except for few situations. The college supports and encourage the students to participate in extra curricular activites by conducting debate, speach competition, sports meet, and many to make students actively participate in extra curricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college make a day as a alumni day to male all available alumni of the college to return to the college for once.
Admission :
Submitted my application form online and the online portal is user friendly. As I have scored 82% in my 12th public exam I received sms to the mobile number I gave in the form, for counseling. Once I received this sms I headed to the counselling with my father and got admitted in this college.
Faculty :
There are over a 20 lecturers in our department the average age will be around 45 to 50. They are well knowledged in the subject they are over taking and also been a great teachers to the student till now. They are open to ask any doubts anytime provided its a relevent doubt.
