Remarks :

Management is very good. They help you at any time. Even off the campus situation also.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum are pretty good. You will have three internal exams and one external exam. Both internal and external exams are conducted by the own University and papers are evaluated by the college only. College curriculum contain managament course which makes you better professional.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good. Best MNC companies are conducting placements in college. Many companies like Dassault systems, TCS, Wipro technologies, cognizant, tech Mahindra etc. There is a tentative placement percentage.

College Events :

Many technical work Shop, cultural fest, department fest. Gajajothi is the best fest of the college. Cse department fest is another 3 days event which is conducted by computer source and engineering department students. Ece fest, sports events, intra college and inter College sports events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee Structure is low when compared with many other Universities in country. There are charging around one lakh. And you will get merit rembasment etc. Hostel fee is separate. Exam fee will be separate two thousand pre semester. You can fee by two installments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As Odisha resident you can apply prerana scholarship and other states in the country can apply many scholarships. Coming to education loan. I haven't taken any loan. But there is a facility to take education loan many of my friends are taken education loan.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is very good. There is a lot to learn. Gender ratio is 50:50 in fact girl students are more than boys students. There are many extracurricular labs like communication labs, sports labs, coding labs, training labs, debates were conducted frequently. Workshops, technical fest and many more extracurricular activities and events. NCC, NSS AND CSR activities.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I am not in the hostel. But my friends are in hostel they says that rooms are good. Quality food. 24/7 water and electricity. Cleaning staff are good. Overall maintenance of the hostel rooms and hostel is well.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seperate team us there for Alumni network. There are arranging meeting with our alumni and senior students.

Admission :

There will be a entrance exam conducted by the college. You should attend the exam. If you get good rank in exam that will be fine and you will get admission. Or else you can directly contact to college admission office in college and you get the admission.

Faculty :

Average age and well qualified faculties. There are tentative numbers of facilities. They provide real time industrial experience. You will have subject specified faculties to teach the subjects. Faculties are very friendly and provide good quality knowledge about subjects.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
