Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum and exam structure was quite relevant during my student days there and our faculty would go extra mile to make it more and more relevant with current instances in corporate India .Also institution made arrangements for Guest Lectures by corporate Legends who used to give us their thoughts on different/specific topics which rule corporate India .
Placement Experience :
Oh placement set up is great I got my first job In Bayer india A German Conglomerate thanx to campus recruitment in my college .Tentativepercetageof students placed is 65%.Our institution and our faculty did lot of ground work to prepare us to get placements.
College Events :
Oh, Andhra University is known for student festivals we do have a calendar for these festivals around the year I used to be a major participant in these festivals. It was widely covered in the media and enthusiastically participated by students across.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Well, Those days I paid 25000 for the entire course. There was no issue with the transparency of fee, Within this 25000 all elements used to figure like tuition fee, library fee, entertainment, sports , canteen , research, etc. Now the fees structure has changed please look at their website for the latest.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes college offered scholarship and educational loan but i didnt opt for it as anyway i was not eligible it was for sc/st students.
Campus Life :
Boys-Girl ratio was 3:1 College was very diverse in its student background but it was great fun to be studying there. We had a great time attending workshops and I was part of many cultural societies. We were an extremely tolerant student community with free flow of ideas.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I didn't opt for the hostel as accommodation was less in Number so most of the students used to arrange for rented portions outside the campus. PG was available nearby for us in those days.We used to pay 2000 per yr.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yeah, our seniors were quite helpful as we have an Alumni Network. thanx to our alumni network many students got placed in many great companies among the corporate world.
Admission :
Well i was looking for a prestigious institution for my MBA course and I was toying with many institutions Andhra University also happened to be one as it has a great reputation also its one of the oldest institutions of repute ,i wrote an entrance test and got thru the test which generally happens in june-july.
Faculty :
We had around eight to Nine lecturers in our course average age was 45 and most of them were Ph.D.'s they had great command over their subjects. All of them had relevant industry experience also. Most of them gave us huge insights into their subjects they were extremely passionate individuals towards their job.
