Remarks :
As for as college overall strength, I rank it as 8/10, academic wise, its good too. If you are interested in academics, you can join various academic related clubs, as far as culturals and fun, Ethiraj is known for it, you can join any club like theotro accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is semester based. We have an odd and even semester. The curriculum includes lamguage, non major elective, soft skills, major and allied. It is upgraded accordingly. The exam structure is dem based. If you fail, u can attempt in next semester.
Placement Experience :
Each year the placement cell of ethiraj conduct a 15 days personality development class for all the final year students. So people get into big companies through this. You are very well trained for the interview.
College Events :
The events are mostly two events, aarambh maithri and Srishti. The arambh occurs in august and is for first years and the maithri is for everyone. This occurs consequently as three days. Next in the month of February, two days. Inter college fest occurs and various events are arranged.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure for the aided is usually less. It costs around 5000 per sen but for a self supporting candidate it costs around 30000, so it depends on the course you choose and your marks. The mode of payment is usually online. There is no secure amount to be paid in advance, yes there is transparency.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The scholarship is based on community you belong to. If you belong to schedule caste or schedule tribe, you ll recieve 8000 per year. If you belong to back ward class community, you ll recieve 2800, if your forward class community, you won't recieve any scholarship.
Campus Life :
The labs are present for each and every department and it is well developed, and well equipped, the sports students have a separate ground and recently they arre building a new hostel for students of sports, the gender ratio is around 7000 students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yeah. For all the alumni students you ll have a function to attend the college every year and you ll be sent a response to attend it and you ll provided with food. Many notable alumni visit the college.
Admission :
I had applied online for this college, recieved a message to attend an interview and I got into it providing my documents. Its merit based and community based entry. Moreover mostly people of OC ll have to score more and SC can get in with much lower marks too.
Faculty :
On an average, there are 14 staffs or more. The most aged person is our HOD. And the major teachers and other teacher's are allotted according to the hierarchy. Mostly they refer the same book since its zoology. They try to make students understand it better.
