Remarks :

I love the way JU is except for its low maintenance. The government shall take concern regarding this matter and make all the necessary changes to its Institution. But as a whole, JU is on of the best institutions one can ask.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course seems to adhere to the notions of the mainstream course structure which is being moduled in almost every University. The course seems to be quite vast but assures to provide great knowledge and turns up to be beneficial for every individual. Moreover, Sociology being a theoretical subject and with wider aspects keeps in concern to provide all sort of informations ranging it from human relations, society, environment, industrial development, global economic scenario, so on and so forth. However, Campus placement is not so sorted in this subject.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of JU works great. There are ample of companies coming up every year to recruit individuals. Moreover, internships are a to-do thing to one.s list, of course.

College Events :

To talk of events, our college stands on the first place. JU takes in concern in indulging its students in all sort of events, ranging it from seminars to cultural evenings. This University is truly the one which anyone dreams about. Different departments have their own fests organized every year with potential crowd of people from all over Universities around. The students infact are very welcoming and have the sense of participation as well as competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is completely accessible and very minimal. The admission fee for our subject accounts to be 1200 for the whole course of study (2 years). Furthermore, there is just the need to pay a small amount as semester fee before registering for the examination (Rs. 44). The guess can be made here, how less JU charges from its students. It doesn't believe in quantity rather it succumbs its notion to quality.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The University does provide Scholarships for students. But due to my own personal inconvenience, I didn't apply for any internship.

Campus Life :

Our University is vastly populated with an equal ratio of boys and girls including all other genders. As a whole, JU stands as an unified institution which welcomes each and every student belonging to whatsoever community, race, background. There is no discrimination or looking down upon regarding this matter. Every individual has his/her own identify and given a chance to stand for themselves. There is uncountable list of co-curricular activities, including sports, cultural nights, exhibitons, hundreds of competitions, etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

The ties with seniors are remarkable. If need be for any help, one can reach out to his/her seniors and they are all time ready to help their juniors. The relationship here is very strong.

Admission :

I got selected on the basis of merit. I always aspired to take admission in one of the prestigious Universities of India. Jadavpur holding a great reputation as well as a good name as per an institution made me step into it. First of all, there in the need to apply for the admission by filling up the form which takes place online and a certain amount of fee needs to be submitted which accounts to be really less as compared to all other institutions. After filling up the necessary details and making the payment, the concerned student shall wait for the merit selection list to come up which takes around two months after filling up the form (by July) and is put up online. The institution provides all the required information about when to show up in person and take the admission. Once the date is sorted, the candidate must reach the institution and go through the admission scrutiny.

Faculty :

The faculty stands up to be really good and there is no doubt on this. All the concerned professors are highly qualified ones. Talking about the number of faculty members, it ranges from department to department. As per concern, we have a total of around 6 professors engaged in this subject. However, there is space of guest lectures to take over certain classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course syllabus covers wide aspects of English literature. Thus, making it easier for students to access the academia in future. The teaching methods are very school-ish often making it hard for students to adjust and the teaching is rigorous and requires continuous preparation from the students. The timings of the exams can make ot hard for students to cope up, as the exams always seems to happen back to back. Thus, the students are in constant pressure of studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this university for its cultural ambience having with greenery campus and many more govt. facilities. The faculty and students ratio is extremely fine. The faculty members are really friendly like figures to every student. Yes, the faculty members are well educated because at the time of their entrance they had to qualify for their entrance exams. Then come the professor's teaching methods which are really good and helpful for every single student. Here the exams are held in the semester system under CBCS and two separate semesters are to be given by every course's students. And there are no difficulties to pass the examination. if a student regularly attends the classes and listens to the lectures they will easily pass the examination.

Their campus placement is ready well. They bring in big brands and companies under whom we can intern and later on do a job under the companies. About 90% of the students get placement in the university campusing.
