Course Curriculum Overview :
Mumbai University Curriculum with first-year common to all engineering students regardless of a branch and from the second year it starts to get oriented towards the major course. Selection of electives happens from the third year onwards. We have assignments and mini-projects for all subjects.
Placement Experience :
The placement is above average. Many students get placed. They have to practice assessment exams which the college prepares them for.
College Events :
We have all three events - technical, cultural, and sports. Everybody participates. We also have many sessions and workshops over the year. Some fun and some educational. The fest is called Prathistha and many celebrities. The fests have different names.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees are feasible and more or less constant. There are no extra or additional fees or charges to be paid in order to secure admission to the course. Yes, the college provides transparency in the fee - breakdown. Only online banking, credit card, a debit card is allowed for fee payment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not apply for any scholarship or education loan. The government offers scholarships that any student can avail of.
Campus Life :
There are about 15 girls for every 55 boys. The college has gym facilities, sports grounds, girls common room. The college also has many clubs and committees. Many of the committees are internationally or nationally acknowledged. We have IEEE, CSI, ACM, etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very kind and helpful at every point of the journey and whenever we need them. They encourage us to participate and guide us.
Admission :
Entrance exam MH - CET and JEE - Mains, with CAP Rounds - 1, 2, 3 They also have offline admission Engineering is a versatile course and people can do anything after engineering be it MBA, Law, Masters, Human Resource, Social Media, anything.
Faculty :
Fairly good. Very Helpful. Most are above 30/35 years old and at least have 2 degrees ( graduation, post-graduation ), many also have Ph.D.'s. Whatever they teach is understood by the students. The teachers even conduct extra lectures and one on one sessions with students if required.
