Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was very good, and in exam structure, MCQ pattern was followed for the first year and next two year it was almost same as the ordinary exam. This course is the easiest way to enter the technical knowledge and then shifting to the industry at the earliest.
Placement Experience :
Many companies visit our university for different courses, as far as my course is concerned 6-7 companies visit us out of which Cheema boilers, kinetic, Maruti etc I still remember. At that time the selection is based on your percentage, followed by written test and at last an interview. The minimum percentage to be eligible was 60% and then written test of general knowledge, aptitude, reasoning and subject relevant questions. Many students almost 60% got selected at that time and this was repeated every year as per my information.
College Events :
Many technical, education and youth fests are organised in my university even famous singers and actors are invited to entertain the students. There were many events organised in which thousands of students take participation, apart many national level competitions are organised within the university.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure was feasible, and even many scholarships are also provided by the institute to the students. At the time when I was a student, the fee was submitted in the form of cash/dd/cheque in any branch of state bank of India. There was full transparency of fee paid by students, and if they had any problem, they could consult the accountant who was assigned for evey particular courses.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't opt for any loan but as I mentioned earlier there were many scholarships for the students and also nowadays loans are easily accessible.
Campus Life :
I can't give the exact gender ratio but the ratio was good. Further, there were many students in our college that belongs to almost every religion. All are of friendly nature and live in unity. There were many students groups also there who always help the needy students in their odd time.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I am day scholar but my many friends stay in hostels. Hostels were easily available and the food was also good further the university is located in the city and easily accessible by transportation, restaurants and PG. The choice is entire of the students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our seniors were quite helpful to us, they provide every help in the form of notes, test papers and books
Admission :
After 10th, I want to know more about mechanical engineering as my keen interest was in it so I opted for JET and score very well and got admitted to this college through the online portal of selecting the college as per my rank. It is a very pleasant college, surrounded by Gurudwaras.
Faculty :
The faculty was very nice and experienced. They are professional and experts in their relevant fields. They never turn you away just place your enquiry before then and then see the results. Very helpful staff. Even all practical and labs were performed to satisfaction.
