Remarks :

Overall my college is a safe and comfortable environment for us.

Entrance Preview :

I did not take any entrance examination. I got my admission with my 12th standard marks through counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was entirely new to me and i came to learn many new things related to computer and technology. I have to develop my ability to learn n grasp the advance technology.

Internships Opportunities :

I have no idea about that but my senior students had many internships with many companies. They had good experience.

Placement Experience :

Well in our college many companies came for recruitment and they offered good packages, many companies like infosys, wipro , L&T , htc, etc offered us.

College Events :

Our college celebrate all the traditional festival of tamil nadu. It will be very much fun. They conduct symposium for each department annually which give us opportunity to interact with other students.

Campus Life :

My campus life is really wonderful and i love it very much, we are provided with all the necessary facilities like lab, ground, etc. They conduct many competitions to enhance our skills.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel and mess facilities are good, they take care of it very will. They provide variety food for the students.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very good and polite to us. They always tend to help us, we maintain a good friendship with our seniors and they guide us always.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is very easy to handle, if we concentrate in class it is very much sufficient to get pass grade. We much concentrate on all nook and corner to score high.

Faculty :

The faculty members are really good and we students are comforted by them. They always supported us and helped us in all the ways. They are very much talented.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
