Remarks :

This college offers best core companies for placements with high salary package. The pass percentage of previous year students are more. This college also has excellent infrastructure. On comparing with other institutions in Chennai the academic fees in this college is less.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This college provides many industrial visits which helps students to gain more knowledge about the industries mainly the core industries. The syllabus which is been given is very much updated to the present technology. Selva Kumar sir is a faculty from mechanical department of my college is a very much knowledged person who explains everything in an easier manner.

Class Size : 82Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience :

Since I was a mechanical department student I have visited a ford company. The mechanical department students who were selected in the core companies were about 60 percentage. Entrepreneur cell is given more importance for all the department students in my college.

College Events :

Technically national level symposiums were been conducted. Cultural events have been conducted once in a year. Pongal festival have been conducted. The participation in cultural and the pongal celebration includes big family of parents and students and even other participants from other universities too.

Campus Life :

Sports is given equal importance with academics. Wi-Fi stability is more. Size of the library is equivalent of maintaining 3000 students at a time. All the equipments in the Labs are re moderated and in good working conditions.

SRM UNIVERSITY- THE GOOD AND THE WORSE

Placement Experience:

The placement here is pretty good , we can get internships from 3 rd year onwards but the placement is after 4th year . The highest package offered here is 1.08 cpa The average package offered here is 6 lpa And if you want to get a good enough package here you will habe to study. Hard and be productive in coding it will be best if you maintain a higher cgpa than 8 . Many companies come here like amazon, google, tcs and many more.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus is changed and it is relevant . The duration for preparing for exams and difficulty level are okay manageable . Elective exams will be there , which can be selected by the students . during the cat exam , we will have 2 exams on the same day and will have a holiday for the next exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Artificial Intelligence and data science as I was veey much interested to learn about AI and I believe that this course has a lot of scope outside. In my college they do provide a good curriculum for this course that teaches things from the basic to advanced level.
