Student's Review On Government Engineering College - [GEC], Godhra

It's a College affiliated by Gujarat Technological University. Near to my home, heard about its teaching environment, dedication of the teacher, mainly have heard about practical they make us to do is of great experience

Course is good enough, yes we are taken for industrial visit every year. Everyone is good teacher excluding few, they just come in class as formality, but they are not allocated main subjects 2-3 of them are only in our lab classes. Overall its good

Placement cell of our college calls for different companies every year for placement and the good thing is we can go for placement in any government college within the Gujarat. College is fair enough for placement facilities, but many students don't appear in it.

Our college had different events for different departments. Containing commerce, science and electronics department every technical events were basically like a inter department competition. Cultural events includes onam celebration (wich is the best), Christmas celebrations, holi celebration. Every year the events becomes more and more awesome. Bringing DJs, exotic moto show, presentation competitions etc.

I have availed MYSY scholarship given by government of Gujarat to the students having higher of marks in class after admission. They select the 7 students during my first year from my class. They can avail it for all 4 years condition is they have to pass every year with more than 60% marks

Everything as per government college requirements and compulsion everything is available in sports, wifi facility is available in the whole premises of college. Speed is also good, in library nearly 200-300 students can accommodate, expect for few all other equipment are there in labs.

No i have not opted for hostel, but its good as i have seen, everything needed is available. Best thing is canteen of hostel. Wifi, beds, management team, different buildings for boys girls nad quarter for teachers
