Remarks :

Nothing bad about the college it would be great if colleges reduce the fee structure.

Entrance Preview :

Exam MH CET engineering score 108/150 it was an 'A' Graded college under mumbai university. While filling up CAP round forms I mentioned this college name and got admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I did my bachelors degree from this college In Information technology mumbai university provides good syllabus and exposure to engineering students. Improvement area need to eliminate subjects which are redundant and not needed for IT Field.

Internships Opportunities :

We searched for the company for internship and it was a good experience working for the internal project for an MNC. Also this taught us basic team work and beginners experience of work culture at work place no stipend was offered.

Placement Experience :

As comapred to engineeering college across mumbai we had fair placements and job opportunities.50%-60% students were placedFew companies which came in for Placement during 2008 are (It was recession period)TCS, Capgemini, Masteq, Lion Bridge, Patni, L&T Infotech, Geometric , JP Morgan and few morePackage : 4.5 LPA (Maximum) - 1.8 LPA (Minimum).

College Events :

There were three major events sports festival this was held for a week, technical Festival named 'Nucleus' this was quite poplar and many other engineering colleges participated in it. It was intra college festival, cultural festival it was one day event and was inter college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For students like me it was expensive fee structure was 45000 Per year other than that we had various other expenses like travelling books tuition feeetc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No wasn't aware of any such facility my Junior college kelkar college of science arts and commerce (V.G Vaze College) located in mulund east mumbai is known for providing various scholarship.

Campus Life :

It was excellent in our college sports event was for inter college participants which was held for a week and Intra college which was conducted throughout the year. Robotics and few technial festival events were famous and It was an Intra college event and Invited various college for participation labs were at very good conditions and well maintained.

Hostel Facilities :

I was not utilizing the facility so don't know much about it few friends who were using the facility found the mess food below average.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes we are all are very much in touch and most of the alumni are doing great career wise many of them moved out of country for better living and work Culture even I am staying abroad.

Exam Structure :

We had regular lab sessions and practical lectures . 4 days a week exams were semester wise and 4 year course had 8 semesters and various internal examsIt wasn't hectic.

Faculty :

Even though the faculty was really good but for few departments it needed much more improvement. Few teachers were very new to the teaching background and needed more exposure.

Best College in Solapur

Remarks:

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college
