Remarks :

I always wanted to do Economics Honours since 11th class and this course was initiated in 2017 only. The crowd of this college is most happening and sexiest and infrastructure is also good. Faculty is also very helpful and cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of BA Economics Honours is same as DU syllabus of the year 2012-13 which is easy than the current BA Economics Honours course of DU. Yes we have been to many industrial visits and the industrial visit was cancelled due to lockdown.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 82800 per year

Placement Experience :

Amazon, Honda, Colgate, Deloitte and many more companies visited in our college and 80% of the students were placed. Placement process is done through aptitude test, group discussions and personal interview, sometimes some companies don't take test.it completely depend on the companies.

College Events :

The biggest fest of our college is of BJMC department known as Spandan is a cultural fest and almost all colleges of DU and IPU are invited. Every department has their own academic and management fests. Societies are for the whole college like dance singing, art, instrumental, natak fashion, drama, film, sports society etc.

Campus Life :

Centralised air-conditioned, WiFi is available on every floor and there are 3 libraries-1 for law, 1 for other ug courses and the other is for pg courses and fountain and plants and flowers are the most attractive things in infrastructure. Lifts and computer labs are also available.

Hostel Facilities :

No hostels are provided by our college but PG are available near the college. I haven't opted for any hostel as I live in Delhi only but many of my friends have opted for the hostel near the college which are clean and safe.

I've chosen this course according to my needs and choices... It offers us with 4 additional subjects which I'd say are valuable in terms of knowledge.. Subjects like environment science, ethics and culture etc prepares us for real world applications of further academic pursuits as my goal is upsc and there's a topic called ethics and culture Teaching can be improved if they provided us with digital boards as porta cabins do not have any smart boards Frequency of exam is ok neither too exaggerated and nor too low

Explore the European language

Placement Experience:

We will have campus placement with Amazon company only and it comes in our 5th semester with a very attractive package around 4.6 lack per annum. There is no percentage barrier to get hired, as it is completely based on our interview performance. In case if we haven't got campus placement, we have many other opportunities in co-operating sectors, translation field, tourism field, govt embassy, etc. So opportunities are there for this course.

CIC is busy and fast moving. Unlike most other colleges, where in you would have a fixed schedule for your day and a planned return to your home, CIC will keep surprising you each day. Satyawati - One of the best college

Remarks:

About the college, it is a decent college and the students here are nice. The seniors are supportive and we have many societies one can join for co-curricular stuff. The college follows anti-ragging policy and thus ragging is prohibited. The teachers are well experienced and trained apart a few. The infrastructure of the building is decent and the classroom is spacious too. They are just like one has in their schools. We have a great auditorium in which the Air conditioner rarely works. The canteen is great too. The ground is good and regularly maintained. The library has good seating capacity as well as is air-conditioned.

Peaceful Environment

Remarks:

WiFi is terrible and limited. You only get 15 GB per month. It troubles while connecting to it. It connects and disconnects frequently. It's better to have your own data pack. System of Jamia is poor. Staffs of the Examination Controller are lazy, slow and commit a lot of mistakes due to which many students suffer.
