Entrance Preview :

I gave GATE Civil Feb 2010 and scored 90.46 Percentile. I decided to opt for this college as it was a recognized Government College. The faculty was good and also it was near to my place. There was no interview for Gate qualified candidates.

Internships Opportunities :

There was no Internship for M.E students. In the second year we did project work . We were assigned Project guide and an external guide. My guide was Prof. Gadve and external guide cum sponsor was A.B.Dongre.

Placement Experience :

The placements were good. Many Companies like L&T, Aker Solutions, FL Schmidt, Toyo Engineering etc. came and offered placements to students.

Exam Structure :

The exams were held twice in a year during the first year . In the second year there were no exams but presentations related to the project. The labs were good place to be in . But it got very hot during March - April. There were 2 labs in structural department. Material testing Laboratory and Strength of Materials laboratory.

Faculty :

The faculty was good. Especially Prof. Bage and Prof Murudi. They were very helpful and always supported the students. They both had in depth knowledge of the subject they taught. Prof Bage taught non linear analysis in the first semester and advanced concrete structures in the second.

Entrance Preview:

I gave the entrance exam of the college to opt for master of technology course. I always wanted to study in this college as this is best for chemical technology.

Admission:

We had an admission procedure first of online test. Then the marks were displayed on the college website. Depending on the merit list the seats were offered to students. Then, Dean of the college and respective faculty were at the podium and according to the merit list, the students were called to take admission. firstly, people with GATE scored were preferred then the students who cleared the online test were called out for admission.

In GATE entrance examination get 24 marks out of 100 marks. Sri ramdeobaba college of engineering and managment is ranked 2nd in nagpur. Admission process simple. Admission given strictly on merit basis.

Placement Experience:

I am not placed. But there are good placements for software engineering students. Last year 350 student was placed in infosys and tech mahindra. Some of companies which come to campus are capgemini, infosys, tech mahindra , etc. Package they are offer between 3.25 lacs to 4.5 lacs.
