Entrance Preview :
Kerala State Entrance Exam is required to get an Admission at Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology. I scored around a rank of 8000, I was interested to learn Instrumentation and it was the best college available and was under Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was pursed under Cochin University of Science and Technology. It included latest technology and incorporated new developments in the field of Instrumentation.
Internships Opportunities :
Students have to find their internship by their own. Most of the PSU's take students from our college during the summer breaks, I did mine at a PSU which was very beneficial for my career.
Placement Experience :
Placements were the biggest problem in our campus for Instrumentation. But IT companies recruitment were fully fledged Students did get placed at Infosys, UST global, TCS and were offered salaries up-to 12 lakhs per annul.
College Events :
The college is quite eventful, yearly college day celebrations and inter college competitions are held and can compete in Cochin University fest. Other departmental fests and International seminars were conducted time to time.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structures change from time to time, yearly the fee structure is decided by the government of Kerala.The management policies also will be a factor for the decision of fees, once it is decided it will be the fees for entire course and fees were paid in 4 year installments. Roughly it will be around 30000 inr.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships were available for economically backward students. Education loans are available with all banks. By filling their application the college will do the necessary actions to get education loan.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni networks are not so alive because the college is on 12 th year, it will take some time to get everything on track on 2014 we formed a Alumni association and we are doing it time to time.
Faculty :
We had one of the best faculty team. The team included retired scientists from ISRO, their valuable contributions were remarkable. All the faculties were very experienced and had met with UGC and AICTE norms.
