Remarks :

In the aspect of academics, we cannot expect anything more, but coming to the communication skills and extra curricular activities they can do better.Along with that if they can concentrate more on getting companies for campus placements it would be better for the students to get a job in campus.

Entrance Preview :

After my Intermediate, i took EAMCET exam and got decent score(30k) in it, from beginning I had a dream to pursue engineering. so i opt to chose Computer science based on my score. I went to EAMCET counseling and chose the SREC, because it is sister college of Raghiv Gandhi Memorial College which is having it is own reputation in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, curriculum is quiet good. it was a 4 year degree in which 1st year consists of basic subjects like English, Maths, Applied Physics, C language, drawing and couple of other subjects. In addition to the subjects we have to complete 5 labs to get practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities :

In the final year last semester we have to do a project work, we can chose what ever we want, every team consists of 5 members with a team leader to take care of all the things. I am the team leader for my team.we did a project called, cooperative caching in peer to peer networks by using Net.

Placement Experience :

In the last semester couple of companies like synergy and Syntel came to our campus to recruit students. They were having a similar process for selecting the candidates. it consits of 3 rounds which are written test, technical interview, HR round.

College Events :

Starting from my 1st year our college celebrated lot of eventsin my 1st year we have celebrated freshers daycoming to second year we have organized a cricket tournament called Santhiram Premier League.Where as in the 3rd year we did RGM expo

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For every year the academic fee is 28k, in addition to that we need to pay a bus fee and exam fee college fee around 20k. coming to the hostel fee it is 30k per year. well at that time is feasible for middle class people.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the scholars who got good marks in intermediate the government offered 5k each year.Moreover starting from 3rd year, government introduced EBC fee reimbursement scheme.

It is quite good, the kind of quality and quantity we got for what we paid is more than enough hostel fee it is 30k per year.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

As we were the 1st batch students in the college, we got to know the faculty very well when compared to other batches.we are having a Facebook group for our batch, in which we all actively shares the things.

Exam Structure :

Internals In every semester we have to have 3 internals which are online, each exam is for 20 marks.externalsat the end of the each semester or year we were having externals. which is for 80 marks.at the end we combine the internals and externals.apart from those we were having lab exams which are for 75 marks

Faculty :

Faculty is very experienced in their own fields. they are very co operative and having very good knowledge about what they were teaching. from 2nd year on wards we were having semesters up to 4th year.

The main factor joining Nri institute of technology is its motto for student is personalized learning. They help us to learn through innovative methods and techniques and also their facilities they provide to the students are very proper.

Placement Experience:

Internships, interactive sessions are held by college management as a part of placement process and the students are provided with trusted placements. Remarks:

The campus is provided with hostel facilities, and mess facilities are also available for hostel students and day scholars as well. All the labs are well-equipped with modern technology devices. The campus building has good infrastructure, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. These factors made me want to join in this college.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good and for computer science its the best. The CSE department has the most placed percentage compared to other departments. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. All types of companies like top MNCs and startups, visit the campus to hire students.

My college journey

Remarks:

The college has a good campus life with lots of activities. It also promotes equality amongst the students. It has collaborated with top companies for the placements. It is overall at a growing stage and I know this college has a lot of potential.

Admission:

The admission procedure is same as it is for other engineering college. I took up JEE main exam in the year 2015 and qualifying the exam, I applied for the admission in the college. It also accepts GATE score.
