Remarks :

Timing is bit hectic as they make us busy in labs and project reviews. Campus life is really good, one can enjoy in the field they are interested. About placements no doubt they work hard.

Entrance Preview :

I took PGCET, I got 33rd rank in that exam, I took this college because it is a place where you can exhibit your abilities, it has great infrastructure and good staff with lots of support.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In 1st semi we learn about basics of computer scienceIn 2nd semester we learn about working of operating systems ,data storage. In 2nd year we learn about computer graphics, computer networks and other electives like image processing , cryptography. There are many electives.

Internships Opportunities :

Y college comes under tier 2 so most of the top companies come to our college. For example Microsoft, google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, oracle , IBM, directi , Samsung etc. Stipend depends on the company. I know about cerner which pays around 20k per month as stipend.

Placement Experience :

Placement is really good . College is very keen on placements. I feel it's one of the best in Karnataka for placements. They will conduct a mock interview before the placements.

College Events :

Fashion show, coding events, graffiti, code hunt, treasure hunt, mad ads etc. Its an open event any one can participate in that. Even the same college students. But events may be free or they may charge.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is really feasible. It depends on the course your take. Usually it will be around 1lakh, management students must pay lakhs together to get admission. Fees must be paid on yearly basis.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College won't provide any kind of scholarship but they will give information about govt scholarship.

Campus Life :

Girls hostel is out of the campus , only boys hostel is inside the campus . Lots of committees like cultural and technical. Interested can participate.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel fees is 70k. Mess food is good . 1st and 2nd year 3 in a room , 3rd year 2 two in a room and last year one in a room, for post graduation students 1st year 3 in a room and from 2nd year onwards 1 in a room.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty :

Faculty is really good and supportive. They make us to work hard. Project guidance is excellent. Most of the faculty are doing PhD and most of them almost completed. They make to get involved on their research work so that students can come up with their innovative ideas.

Entrance Preview:

It's a place to explore more and the next 2 years is gonna be the best parts of college life with lots of advantages. And hopefully, it will be left with no regrets to any of us since it has lots to explore and get to do much of the things at the institution.

Admission:

I actually wrote pgcet and kmat but I came and did my admission through kmat. Firstly we need to provide kmat registration form at college and apply for application online in the college portal then we need to submit even that later we need to pay some amount to get admitted in the college.

I took up the KMAT entrance exam. I opted to study in Kristu Jayanti College as I had heard a lot about its courses, teaching facilities, extra curricular activities etc.

Admission:

I read through the admission process online. Checked for the phone number to contact the college office. They explained the complete admission process in detail to me. The admission forms are available online. I applied for the MCA course through the college website. I received an e-mail which stated that i was selected for the interview process. I attended the interview and got admission to the college.
