Student's Review On Bharath University - Bharath Institute Of Higher Education And Research - [BIHER], Chennai

Remarks :

I choose this college because it has a very good name. It is located near my hometown. And the field i am going to pursue my career in doesnt require much placements as we do our own buisness. It is the best college for my field

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers here were qualified and provided great knowledge about the subject. The course curriculum was quite relevant as it provided us with basic knowledge about the industry and real on-site works. But what I learnt in the college and what I practised in the internship is completely different.

Placement Experience :

There is no placement for civil engineering students here. All the students opt for higher studies in abroad and apply for off-campus jobs and placement. Other branches have good records. The college supports students in the placement process.

College Events :

The campus life is way too boring. There are no extra curricular activities organised. The is a strict rule for dress code and punctuality. There is gender discrimination in campus. There is no ground where we can go and play any sports. The campus is safe and free from ragging. Strict action is taken against drugs and ragging inside campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was comprehensive and we have an option to choose free electives from other departments too. We would have 2 quizzes and one end semester exam in a semester and meanwhile assignments will be shared at regular intervals of time.

The college is good overall, but there is definitely work to be done in terms of exams, curriculum, boy-girl ratio and interactions. some of the rules which college has imposed is not common sense and that needs to be changed.
