Remarks :

Business Economics from Delhi University is a prestigious and professional course as well as is affordable. I wanted to study a little of both bcom as well as economics honours, so I chose this. It is also not as difficult as economics honours and you can also opt for post graduation in Economics after this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is amazing. One can study economics in post-graduation after this and it is not as difficult as economic honors but still has practical aspects. It is perfect for learning both BCom as well as eco honors. However because it is such an exclusive course, the study material is not vastly available

Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience :

I don't have much idea, it's pretty average as most of the students go for higher education. But many do get placed, It is one of the most active placement cells of Lakshmibai as companies are interested in students who have done professional courses.

College Events :

There is just enough of campus life, however not really over the top. The NSS is the best but dance society isn't functioning well. Though surprisingly many big Bollywood stars come to promote their movies in our college.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is pretty good. Just recently 2 new buildings are constructed. There is also really big grounds. Quite happy with the college infrastructure. The library is also 2 storied but doesn't have Aur conditioning

Placement Experience:

Being the top college of south campus a good number of companies come for placements in sri venkateswara college, a student gets eligible for placement in 5th semester or third year. Companies which have visitted college are namely, Deloitte, De Shaw, KPMG , Ey And some startups as well. highest package offered this year till now is of 23 LPA for financial research analyst in DeShaw. Average package you can get from sri venakteswara college is around 7 LAKHS PER ANNUM. around 30- 40 % students gets placed every year. I would likely go for my masters after completing bachelors

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum offers to understand how the world works or how India works , also let us know about the philosopers who brought the revolutionary thought to transform the world This curriculum make us aware about the fundamental duties we have, so in real life no one can mistreat us. Also let us know about the policies of the gov so we can take out the benefit in our real life I think the improvement should be more indian philosopers and their philosophy should be included in this curriculum The exams are moderate but they are quite lengthy, so u have to manage that how much time you have to give to per question

Know Hansraj College (DU) with an experience of 3rd year student

Placement Experience:

In the second semester, I was given an interview for an internship within college..that required IT skills that one must possess to avail of such benefits. I'm not sure about it as it is known mostly among commerce students I have heard about a highest package of 18 lakhs and an average of 10 lakhs I will be pursuing an MA in my course and going for civil services.

Great Time At Hansraj!

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Our college has a playground to play sports in any choice of sports can be played be it basketball or badminton. They also have a canteen wherein a nutritious food is available for the students. Also, we provide with medical facilities in case of any mishappening.

Remarks:

Companies like Wi-Fi and labs are well-organised. However, the classrooms are not much good in condition. The library is in good condition, but the sports and medical facilities are low. Labs are available in good condition. The food available in the canteen is not that poor, but its quality is not that good.
