Remarks :
Overall college is very nice with all the facilities required in a college. The only drawback in the college is placement opportunity. The college should provide placement to its students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was nice. We had a semester system in which we have 2 semesters in a year. Each semester included different subjects which started from basic in the first year and continued till expertise/professional in the final year. I learned a lot of things about the corporate and professional world.
Placement Experience :
Placement is not good because the college doesn't invite companies for interview and placement. So for placement one has to attend the DU campus placement programme and take those interviews.
College Events :
The college used to celebrate a lot of events. The college organized college fest every year which continued for 3-4 days. Its a complete and full house jam show including dance, music, games, etc. Every year they invite a celebrity guest in the guest. Last year Varun Dhawan was the chief guest at the event. Along with that, there is a freshers party which college organized for all departments. Apart from it, there is department wise freshers party also which every department used to organize for newcomers of their department. Then in the final year, they organized a happening farewell party to bid goodbye to students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees of the college are very nominal as its a government college. The fees were Rs 7000 for each year for B.com Hons i.e. Rs 21000approx for complete graduation. Apart from this, there are no other charges. The only charge is the college fees. There are no other expenses.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loans as scholarship opportunity are less in the college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. It's a girls college. It has all the facilities which are required in a college. It has a nice canteen where you can get tasty food at cheap prices. There are small gardens also where you can relax and spend time during free lectures. The college has a very big ground for sports activities. It has separate computer labs, music labs, and other department specific rooms. The college used to organized multiple learning competitions which were driven by different departments or streams.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, alumni staff and seniors were helpful. We could easily reach out to them in case of any query or concern. Senior was very helpful and used to guide us.
Admission :
A cut off list was generated by the college in the month of July during the admission process. In the second cut off list, I qualified for the admission. I went to college, took the prospectus and admission form. Then I went to the room where the teachers were sitting. They verified my documents and eligibility for the course and approved the admission. Then I submitted the fees and admission process was done.
Faculty :
The faculty was good. Teachers were nice and good at teaching. They used to take extra classes also. They guided us very well and always solved our queries. All the teachers were approachable. They used to give us the tips to secure good marks in exams.
