Student's Review On Bharath University - Bharath Institute Of Higher Education And Research - [BIHER], Chennai

Remarks :

I chose this college because I wanted to study in south India and Chennai was the best option. I applied for several others colleges in South and luckily I got admission in Bharath. The fee structure of Bharath is also of medium range.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing B.tech in Civil Engineering. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and graduates. Many of them have an experience of more than 25 years. They are really supportive and friendly. They provide notes for chapters and also update us regarding the moderations and new researches.

Placement Experience :

On the scale of 10, I would like to rate placement cell around 7.9. As stated by my teachers, many companies visit college with job offers. The college is supportive while placements. Jobs are available both on-campus and off-campus. Mostly students here pursue for higher studies and then apply for off-campus jobs.

College Events :

The campus life in college is really fun. There are different spots where you can sit with your squads and enjoy. The campus is located in Tambaram. It is around 3.5km from Tamabaram station and around 18km from Chennai airport. There is hospital inside campus only for emergenices.

Campus Life :

The college is very good. There are several buildings for different departments. The laboratories are well maintained and clean. There are several smart classrooms, I have seen only one. Their is no net inside classes. They have bus facilities also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was comprehensive and we have an option to choose free electives from other departments too. We would have 2 quizzes and one end semester exam in a semester and meanwhile assignments will be shared at regular intervals of time.
