Remarks :

Being a private college, the rules kept changing for students as the authorities wanted to. Overall it was a nice college with an awesome exposure, because it gives freedom to think, learn and to be

Entrance Preview :

I gave AIEEE as my first choice. And got 42, 749 rank.Personally I felt this institution gave me required amount of exposure and freedom of thought to grow in a competitive yet technical environment. Where teacher focussed on sharing ideas and latest technologies over the syllabus, where we felt ourselves learning more enthusiastically and beside studies, priorities were given to co-curricular activities as well to stay healthy and sound body. I found myself growing and developing rapidly among all the others, with our focus on overall development was prioritised. Placements were nice and company outnumbered the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per the govt. syllabus and was strictly followed. One could not find out the difference between a school and the college. We are constantly kept under principal's supervision and his rules were followed, which ended up effectively for students. A diamond comes out under the toughest circumstances, yet many break but equally motivated to stand and fight again. Life was taught here more than engineering

Internships Opportunities :

Nothing of that sort was entertained, but a company tour was provided once in 3rd year to keep the students motivated. And it was first 50 only. But it isn't hard to get a internship now a days,

Placement Experience :

It was as the requirements of India technical market. Yet a broad number of companies visited the college and took several students at once. Few are happily placed.

College Events :

Every year a professional singer and group of dancers being called for every exotica. Talent hunt and dance, singing, and 100 others competition were held during a three day period.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Nominal, but it kept increasing over the years which is a concern yet we should not overlook the fact that the infrastructure and job quality was also getting improved over the years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. But all the banks are ready to offer full scholarship to students and they can study properly happily without thinking of money and focus entirely on studies.

Campus Life :

Male and female were very much equal at a place but one can get together and discuss any issues and doubts. And team work and submitting assignments were must at the first place.

Hostel Facilities :

It was traditionally accustomed according to the Odin culture and the cook were permanent as well as temporary. Even our principal loved eating in the mess more than home. 3 students in a room were the rules, though the room can accommodate only two. Rest all were fine. Ragging was not a part of the curriculum but introduction and knowing your seniors and taking required help was necessary

Alumni/Alumna :

We are very well connected and help each other every now and then to get a job, sort any problems, emotional, managerial, changing jobs.Anyone can get at us

Exam Structure :

It was as per the govt. and it was strictly followed. No extra penny were charged. To and by the college. But

Faculty :

Each and every faculty was chosen, undergoing proper interviews and based on in-depth knowledge and their charasmatic personalities.Every faculty has a unique way of teaching and making the concepts clear easily. It was a rather friendly experience with teachers overall, which made us clear the doubts more easily

Placements in KIIT are great as they are able to invite almost all top companies across globe and also train the students in the formative year of their bachelor's degree. They also continously guide students about various placement rounds involved for different companies.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Remarks:

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
