Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE, I love computer ao i choose computer science and engineering. This time the college have very good reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is little bit heavy. Actualy the curriculum is for 6 mnth bt you have to complete it in 4 month. In 4 month have to complete 6 subject and 4 labs.

Internships Opportunities :

The college was not providing any internships or stipend. If the students have to do any intership then they have to arrange it themselves. In our time i arrange my internship by own and complete it with my friends.

Placement Experience :

In this college the placement is 50-50. If the student's are belongs to mechanical, civil then there is a placement for them but of the student's are from other branch then there is no placement for them.

College Events :

Exotica- the annual function held in every year. In this function there are there are many pre events are being held. The winners are awarded in the function with trophy. There is a star night also organised in the last day of the function.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A scholarship is available for studenta those are belongs to sc,st and obc. The college was give 10000 as a reward to the topper of the college.

Campus Life :

The campus life is amazing in this college. There is a competition held in the college named as robotics in every year .Thers is a competition held in the college named as debate in every year .Also the give opportunity to students for participating in verious sporta event like cricket, vooly etc. The college have a good feturing labs with every equipment for every branch.

Exam Structure :

There are totally 8 semester in 4 years, 2 semester per yearm, 6 paper per semester. The marks are declared as sgpa .Average of 8 sgpa was the cgpa and the cgpa was the total mark of the student.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
