SRCC - More than a college

Remarks :

The college management was very transparent. Inspite of being a government college it was very proactive. They ensured involvement when things were not done properly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very relevant, there are lot of ppts and other required things which are checked in internal assessments. The college had multiple societies which required election, regularly operating the society, conducting a fest, arranging for sponsorship for the fest and other ancillary activities. These gave a glimpse of things ahead in the real world.

Placement Experience :

The college has average placement of 75%. The college has also associated itself with JSW, Barclays Bank etc for internship. Companies which come for placement are : 1) Deutsche Bank 2) All Big 4's 3) Citi Bank 4) Future Group 5) Nomura and many others

College Events :

Crossroads - 4 day fest, one of the best in the country. Has an average footfall of 1lakh plus each day, Shri Ram Business Summit - Shri ram memorial oration, which even had the presence of Narendra Modi, Sundar Pichai and many other elites And apart from these many societies conduct fest which have footfall of more than 30000+ each day.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee was 21000 per year. Fee needs to be paid by bank through Dd or to the bank in cash. There is a SBI bank branch in the college itself where fees can be paid. The fees cannot be paid through any apps. The hostel fees was 3k per month which was charged on a monthly basis.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. Since the fee was very less there was no need to apply for an education loan. The college also had scholarship programs for people from underprivileged program. Details vary each year is given based on income and other parameters.

Campus Life :

The college had a very good gender diversity. Girls were 55 % and boys were 45%. There were people from Delhi who form the majority, then even people from NCR are also there. The college hosted lot of competitions such as debates and other commerce festivals.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I stayed in the hostel. Hostel had 2 or 3 sharing option. Hostel seats are 50 per batch, so only it was given on merit basis. Hostel had nice infrastructure, provided 3 times food and very proximate to the college. PG's on the other hand are very expensive when compared to hostels. But even you have PG's which offer coolers, AC's or some don't offer any of these.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a very good alumni network. There are many notable alumni's of the college. The college also had a alumni meet each year where all the alumnus are invited. The college also promotes startup and has created a start up fund which can be used by alumni's.

Admission :

This was one of the most premium institution of the country. This college has a very rich heritage and part of history. The college houses few of the most reputed faculty in the DU circuit. College gives out a merit list based on the category. In case you satisfy the criteria then you are eligible to apply for the college.

Faculty :

The faculty are best in class in the entire Delhi University circuit. There is a proper blend of young & experienced faculty. Some of them have authored books which are used by entire Delhi University. Experienced faculty bring with them the experience of teaching more than 25 years. And young faculty take care of teaching students about the technology changes and the new dynamics of corporate world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was to the point. Everything was explained nicely in books provided to us and faculty, teachers were very good. They were passionate about their job . I personally had no problems with timings or frequency of exams. I can't comment on areas of improvement either.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in the course so i chosed this course. The curriculum preparation for the real world application is ok . I don't think so there is need for improvement in anything related to curriculum. The timing for my exams is in the morning 10 am . The timing is different for every exam .

Placement Experience:

The placements are rising each year in Big 4s and Big 6 as well. The placement cell brings in creative and innovative ideas for internships too. Most students were placed in Deloitte and EY in the current year beginning.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is good overall as it provides us with many opportunities. Many companies have visited in the past, and many students have been placed in higher companies. This year, one student got a 48 lac pa placement offer, which was one of the highest in the whole of Du University. The highest was 48lac, and the average are 7 to 10 lac. My plans after completing this degree are to start my own business or pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I studied commerce I wanted to pursue either bcom hons or bcom program. I would say it's 6/10 in terms of real world applications of the curriculum. More practical knowledge should be given. I would say exam were hard but timing was okay.

Some teachers are very professional and friendly as well. But some teachers are not good at teachings. An overall crowd of the college is very good. There are so many feet in the college from time to time which make you feel delighted.
