Remarks :
The college is good and well managed by the management body. Transparency is maintained with the students and placement is also average. The education is provided as per industry standard and extracurricular activities are also taught to the students. Over all the college is good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of the college is well structured according to gate syllabus and industry specific requirement. The course is structured in choice based credit system(cbcs) manner in which students at the end of their program required to complete required number of credits in order to get the degree. Student need to fulfill all cbcs criteria and strictly follow rules and regulation of cbcs. The cbcs helps student to prepare for both gate and different companies and gives them the liberty to choose their subject in every semester of the course. The are occasional industrial visits organized by the college for the students. The cbcs gives students the opportunity to plan their own course so that they can complete the couse with maximum ease and learn what they want which is very essential for students. The examination system consist of 3 internal examinations followed by semester exam to complete the semester.
Placement Experience :
The placement in the college is average like neither very big companies comes for college placement neither small companies comes for college placement. The placement procedure is as usual student need to face written examination round then some companies conduct some extra examination rounds to shortlist candidates for interview round and after that student is offered placement based on their performance. The average percentage to sit for placement drive is 60% in 12 board and no back paper in program. The college provide classes and training for various placement drives but to avail this facility student need to pay 15000inr for one year and student can avail this facility in any year of the program.
College Events :
Technical event like iot competition, robotics competition, gaming coding competition, aerodynamic competition etc. Cultural events like dance competition, singing competition, play competition etc. The college organizes annul college festival year and the festival is quite big and many famous personalities are invited in the college annul festival. The college also organizes various cultural, technical, management festival in the college every year and all nearby colleges are also invited in the festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is average it's neither too cheap nor too expensive. My program fee was 100000inr academic fee and 50000inr hostel fee. The payment can be done in cash mode, cheque mode, online mode (patym, phonepe etc). Student have to pay 5000inr for admission fee, 3000inr for college dress in first year of the program. Apart from that no extra fees is taken by the college. If you avail transportation service then you have to pay accordingly based on the distance. The transparency is maintained by college is fee structure and the fee structure remain the same throughout the completion of the program. The fee structure is different for different program. The fee is feasible for the student.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offers scholarship opportunity to every students whether it's state scholarship or central scholarship or any other scholarship if they satisfy the scholarship criteria they they will get the scholarship from college. The college also provide support to education loans in every possible manner if any student avails student loan to complete program in the college. The scholarship is sanctioned based on marks scored and other criteria like family salary etc. To avail the scholarship we need to fill the form, provide necessary documents and submit the copy in college office and once it's verified and examined the scholarship is granted to the student. The average scholarship a student gets is 30000 in one year.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio in college is 1:4 girl/boy. The campus is very good and hygienic and well maintained, big cheers for cleanliness of campus and over all the campus life is good. They also tech extracurricular like iot, robotics, aerodynamics and many more. Apart from extracurricular they also teach stitching, carpentering and other activities which are optional to every students. There is specific lab for all extracurricular activities like iot lab, robotics lab and many more. The college time to time conduct various competition like debate, art competition, singing and many more which are open to all students. Their is no discrimination among students in any form in the college campus and all students are treated same. Every month there is a workshop for different extracurricular activities and students were taken to different places for extracurricular competition when possible.
Hostel Facilities :
If you opt for hostel facility then in 1st year of your program you need to share a room with 5 students and the number of student sharing a room decrease as the year increase and in final year a room is shared with maximum 2 students. There is a provision of single room facility but you have to pay accordingly. The hostel rooms are spacious and every students gets bed, shelf and a study table. If any student avail hostel facility then student gets 2 meals (lunch and dinner) with the hostel facility. The average fee to opt hostel facility for one year is 50000 per student. The hostel standards are average but if you pay more for special hostel then the standards increases for the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college is ragging free and strict action will be taken like termination of the student from college if any ragging complaint is logged against student. The college is good and the seniors and alumni in every branch and program are also very good and cooperative as well as supportive.
Admission :
Once I cleared my JEE Main exam in 2015 I got a call from centurion university of technology and management, Odisha that based on my JEE Main score I am eligible to take admission in centurion university of technology and management, odisha. I wanted to choose computer science and engineering program because I scored good in computer science in my 12 board. They also called me to take a tour of their college campus and briefly described the facility i am going to get if I take admission in centurion university of technology and management, odisha. After the campus tour and briefing they asked for my jee main exam results, 12th marks and asked some questions based on the program i want to opt in the college.
Faculty :
The faculty are professionally trained in the courses which they teach. To avail for B.Tech course student need to be 12th pass in science stream and average age to avail B.Tech course is 17 years. There are maximum 7 lectures in b. Tech course in one day and the number of lectures are different for different courses. The lectures may increase if the course take more time to complete. Every lecture is of 55 minutes long. The lectures are designed as per industry specific standards and time to time special lectures are conducted by industry professionals and experts.
