Remarks

The faculties of our college are very united and amis at providing the best facilities for the students but sometimes lack of lectures often happens but they managed well on time.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum activities held in the college are very informative and inspiring the students to follow their dreams. Yes, the curriculum groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students. Yes there was several industrial visits being organised by the college for the students.

Placement Experience

3

Since I'm a first year student I don't know much about the internship but as far as my knowledge I found no companies visiting our college.

College Events

4

Our college held freshers meet, college fest and other co curriculum activities like debates, dance competition etc annually. Most of the students participates in every function which our college held and students from other colleges also joins. It gives us a platform to show off our hidden talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First we paid to the college for admission through net banking and we paid no additional fee to secure the admission. Again by the end of each semester we paid another fee for form fillup which is a must to sit for the exam. Yes the college provide transperancy in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I'm a first year student I don't know much about the scholarship but I'm sure the college offers scholarship opportunities to students.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio of our college is good i. e. 50-50. I don't know much about the dorm parties because I have never been there. There is no discrimination bases on gender, race ethnicity and no sexual orientation inside the campus because it ie strictly prohibited.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Basically I am from Manipur but I stayed in Delhi in rent for my study and I didn't opt for hostels. The rental fee is 7000 per months and they didn't give anything expect the room and water all the other things are brought by ourselves.

Alumni/Alumna

Since the first day of my college, seniors are very helpful to their fresh junior. They make sure we don't face any difficulties regarding the notes, societies etc.

Admission

I choose English with Ploitical Science because I love literature but at the same time I would like to know more the state and government policy of the country thats why I choose Political science also. For admission, as soon as Delhi University released the cut off marks, we went to the college directly the college faculties check our documents and our marks for HSE. If our marks reached the cut off we are eligible to be admitted.

Faculty

4

Each subject has about 8 lectures. Most of them are middle age. The lectures which was given to us by them makes clear senses even if we have some doubts they repeats the same topic until it clarifies us. Yes some of the lectures hold relevant industry certifications.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
