Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is of 2 years comprising 4 semesters. The course was more practical oriented with research being an integral part of the syllabus. We used to have many visiting faculty from industry as well. It helped me in getting promoted to managerial post at my work place.
Placement Experience :
100 % placement record as well as there is summer internship of 6 weeks provided to all students. There is a separate team of faculty to make students ready for interview.
College Events :
Food festival, theme lunch, quality improvement program. These programmes are done in each year. Theme lunch cater to atleast fifty people, food festival cater to atleast eight hundred people and quality improvement programme help in providing insights to atleast two hundred students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is feasible. INR 50000 per year and can be paid in installments. No additional fee charges for securing admission in college. College provides transparency in fee breakdown. College accepts fee only in form of demand draft. The receipt provided by college has breakup of tuition fees and development fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. Fees were paid directly from my pocket. The course was not registered for scholarship from government.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio was 3:1 fir male to female. There used to lot of sport activities and extra curricular activities like Quizzes, book reviews, quality improvement program. Students were there from various races, casters and religions. But all students were from Maharashtra, no one was from outside Maharashtra.
Hostel Facilities :
College did not have a hostel. Students generally used to stay as paying guests in nearbuy places. I was a localite and hence the question of hostel never came into picture. College used to suggest nearby locations to students for paying guests.
Alumni/Alumna :
The best hotel management alumni in entire India with a history of 50 years. The alumni has a drastic impact on hospitality industry.
Admission :
College had provided information brochure. The main factor for choosing the institute were the facilities and experienced faculty. Admission was done after clearing entrance exam. The main reason for pursuing the course was getting insights to reach the managerial level.
Faculty :
48 lectures per subject per semester and qualifications required is BHMCT course. The faculty are best in the industry having thorough and updated knowledge of rising trends and technology. The lecturers are experienced in the industry as well as some faculty have completed their doctorate.
