This university is amazing. It provides each and every student with a no of opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes the curriculum is very good and we have a lot to learn during the course. The curriculum is maintained in such a way a way that it groomed industry specific knowledge to each and every student. Yes, University provides industrial visits, hands on sessions, workshops with IIT specialists.

Class Size : 170Course Fees : INR 128000 per year

Placement Experience :

Most of the MNCs came in our university for the placements like IBM, Wipro, Capgemini, KPIT, KPMG, Microsoft, Birlasoft, Google, Amazon etc Almost 80% students got placed in these fortunate companies. Our university provides us with the aptitude and soft skill training for the preparation of our placements.

College Events :

Cu fest, Star night, Cu Tech fest, Tashan Nights, Lohri, holi celebrations etc Also, youth festivals are being organized time to time for the enhancement of the skills of the youth. Also, University provides with no of opportunities for the students to show their talents on the stage in front of big dignatries.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My program fee is 64, 500 (per semester) and my course consists of 8 semesters. Students can pay by cash, cheque and via card also. Online mode of payment is also available(hdfc gateway etc). Also, college provide some transparency in the fee breakdown (for the genuine reasons).

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If student has scored good rank in jee or gate then university provides some scholarship for that. Moreover, top scorer of the class can also avail this scholarship facility.

Campus Life :

The university is having same no of boys and girls. There is no type of inequality in our campus. There are no of any students with different cultures as well as different diversities. There is no type of race, religion, ethnicity discrimination etc.

Hostel Facilities :

No I opted for the pg and rent for pg is around 4000(monthly) which includes electricity and water rent also. Some facilities are given to the students like cooler inverter semi furnished rooms etc. It's a choice to take tiffin service from outside or you can cook by yourself too. The monthly rent including food will be around 7, 000.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Alumni department organize time to time meetings with their juniors. Also, we got an idea about the company ethics and business etiquettes.

Admission :

When I was about to complete my 12th, I start wondering for the upcoming domain. I have a deep interest in electronics, that's why I choose ece engineering. I choose this university because it has a amazing record of ample placements in different domains. Firstly, a counsellor is provided to us(at the time of first university visit) who helped me a lot to gain more information about this field and then they collected my documents, reviewed my previous grades and then I got admission on the obtained rank.

Faculty :

We have approximate 5-6 subjects per semester, and according to that university and management have assigned faculty for that. Most of our faculty members had filed patents and involved in research work. Faculty members are very helpful and enthusiastic about the work they are involved in.

Placement Experience:

For third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hitachi and many more companies are visit for placement in chandigarh university. Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Or students can opt for higher studies masters, MBA , abroad opportunities. Around 45 companies visited for placements with average 5 offers per company.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from sixth semester. Students are free to register as per company eligibility criterion. Companies like Amazon, jp Morgan, Flipkart, dbs, Watchguard, and many more comes for recruitment. From 7th semester on an average we get atleast one company per day.

Honest review about Chandigarh university

Placement Experience:

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I was not able to get admission in pec and this college was the only option. Academics wise its good. Faculties are good. The bad side is the college life you expect its almost zero there. No social life. There are only 5-600 students in the campus. And pretty bad cafeteria.

Admission:

To get the admission here you have to appear for jee mains. And according to the cutoffs you will get the admission. I prepared for it with my normal tutions.
