Remarks :
Nothing bad things in our college. only college building colour is not good. very dark colour used it. college management is very professional. for management quota, one lakh rupees for admission is the only bad thing, but that amount is very less compared with another colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
College is affialiated to Calicut university, which is number one university in kerala state. the course curriculam is almost tough for science students in calicut university degree programs. its groomed me very well. physics lab and chemistry labs I used. which were outstanding and equipped labs. some leadership quality programs and ncc and nss programs are also included here. when I studing a group of companies were came. one of the company name is wipro. my three clasmmtes get campus placement unfortunately I can’t get that. last year of my course our department organised industrial visit at cipla mysure which is located at another state karnataka.
Placement Experience :
Every year there was one placement programe organised there. 70 percentage overall mark and not to fail any single subject thats the only one criteria for applying campus placement interview, the companies conduct interviews and elimination exams and lastly conduct main exams. who are passed that the comapnies give surety for the job. our college gave instructions and gave some classess before campus placement.
College Events :
On arts day there were fighting competition between each departments for who were get more points. one of famous cinema field people may inaugurated every year. almost three days lengthly and more than three stages here for that days. if we get first place and a grade we may move to interzone arts day. Next one is sports day. we have a great play ground which is 100 meter away from the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is feacible almost 10000 rupees for merit based students, for management quota little bit expensive, bcom couse was expensive almost one lakh for admission process. college is under sree narayana trustee they owned a lot of colleges and schools in Kerala so feasible and transparent fees structure is there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Education loan are available. first discuss to college authorities, they gave instruction and filling forms and enquired to your own bank. if bank satisfied, education loan will get.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is very low for science programs. only 5 to ten boys and 20 to 25 girls. for commerce and arts programs gender ratios are equal. political partys inside college is banned after 2015. 99 percentage students coming from home district thrissur. few of them are come from another districts. students are very good by their charector. no more serious issues happened there. economic status of students are varrying. 90 percentages students coming from middle class families and rest of them from high classes.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are excellent which is very near to college. only girls hostel available. hostel building is newly builded and every time high security services are there. toilet, water, food electricity are available. located near to tippu sulthan road, easy to locate and reach. PGs near to college is little bit expensive, actually PGs are not available in that area only home guest facilities are here which is costly.
Alumni/Alumna :
College senior interaction was good. if we fresher some small ragging is there based on politics but today politics inside college is banned. there is alumini networks, facebook and whatsgroups are there for alumini. last year 1998 batches reunions programs held there.
Admission :
Am intersted in science especially chemistry so I select bsc chemistry. after plus two I applied through single window system for admission of undergratuation. I select this college in high priority because its very near to me, beatiful campus. Almost all basic under graduation programs and post gratuation programs are there. its a well reputed and famous arts and science college in thrissur district. easy to reach there, only 500 meters near to national high way and one kilometre near to triprayar town.
Faculty :
About 15 faculty availabe in science background courses and about 8 for arts programs. 75 percentage of faculty in each department have doctrine in their respective subjects and 3 of them have work experiance in teaching almost more 15 years. 25 percentage faculties are guest lectures who are newer to the profession.
