Remarks :
College was nice but I want to blame the people in administration. They had worst administration. They didn't cared much about the quality teaching, they just want teachers who agreed on the minimum salary.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Civil Engineering is the best field in engineering. A major of it belongs to outside world. The road network, alignments, structures etc are so fascinating in real life. But my college was not enough sufficient to provide me basic knowledge. Since all faculties were new and didn't have any experience. There were no industrial visits. Once there was a Survey camp, which was organised in the backyard of our college building. Also there were no placements for vil engineering.
Placement Experience :
There was nothing in the name of placement. Our college administration was so poor. They just want to collect money from students. That's it. There were some students who tried to get internship in industries by themselves. The college plays no role in internships also. But there was a personality enhancement session held by college which was really good.
College Events :
All tech. cultural, management festivals were organised in a single fest, which held in the month of March. The function was good but all the hard work was done by students itself. There was a Fresher party for new students also and sometimes they organise farewell party for last year students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees was slightly low as compared to other colleges. It was 80000 tution fees and 50000 for hostel. They accept it any form except cash. They also had the option of paying in installments. They also provide a proper fee receipt for the paid fees. There were also scholarships distribution for lower caste and economic weaker section students.
Fees and Financial Aid :
No college does not provide any scholarship from themselves. But it was given by government. And it was around Rs. 50000
Campus Life :
Gender ratio was very low. We had 4 girls in 40 boys. There were no cultural society or student groups for any wrong thing. But sometimes if we had any issues with our college administration, we directly form a committee and inform the administration about the problem.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms were nice. It was clean and hygienic. They provide us bed, a study table and chair & an almirah also. The food was also good. The hostel administration was really helpful. They also have gym facility and sports stuff for both indoor and outdoor games.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors were nice. They didn't believe in ragging with new students or harras them in any way. They were very cooperative in academics too.
Admission :
I had applied for UPTU entrance exam. Then I secured a decent rank. Then after few weeks they ask me to choose a list of 10 colleges. It was one of them. I was alloted to this college and I get the admission here. But before it, they interviewed me and ask me for my subject choices and a verify my documents.
Faculty :
They were totally unexperienced. They were just graduated and were pursuing for master's. Also none of them had worked on site, so they don't have any practical knowledge regarding professional civil engineers. Some believed in long assignments only.
