Course Curriculum Overview :

The course should be completed with a good attendance and the assignments would count a mark with the project submitted on that academic year. The semester would have internal exams with the main exam for each semester and the evaluation would be strict and international standardized.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the university has a great placement cell that works to provide the best placement opportunities to its students. The placement cell is committed to provide all possible assistance to graduates and postgraduates in their efforts to find employment.Some of the leading industry names that have become a part of its placement process comprise of HDFC Bank, IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance Co. Ltd, Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) Ltd., Kerakoll India Pvt. Ltd., Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sundaram Finance Ltd. And Reach Management Consultants among various others.Yes our college provides internship and that would be turned to a permanent post in a due course of time

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure in the college is reasonable and the fee would be waviered for a weak economic reasons, The per annum fee would be about a lakh or two with a good concession. The fee should be paid in the beginning of the year for the two semesters in a single academic year

Campus Life :

The extra curricular activities have been given much importance and the labs are highly maintained with a up to date equipped instruments even for the research level as there are many research activities in the campus. Often there are exhibitions to explore the talent of the students. Often many national days are celebrated with a lot of inter departmental competitions. Students are encouraged to go to national state level competitions.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is well maintained and there would be sharing of room woth one to two members. The hostel would be always neat and tidy, cleaned twice a day. The basic amenities are also provided with no extra charges. The food is healthier and tasty in the hostel mess.

Admission :

Candidates applying to UG or PG courses offered at the University need to fill in the registration form and pay the registration fee. The registration form can be obtained from the Alagappa University, Karaikudi through a Demand Draft. The application fee would be reasonable The University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to MBA, MCA, MEd, BEd and MSc Biotechnology courses. Furthermore, for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA, MSc (Biotechnology), the University holds Group Discussion and Personal Interview for candidates shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Admission to rest of the PG courses and UG courses is done on the basis of merit.

Highly qualified and resourceful teachers with the doctorate are assigned, they are friendly in nature. They engage us with course related work and give us opportunities to express our views. They are helpful,indeed cooperating and supportive

About Hallmark business school

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for placements. name of the companies visited to our college is Vijay dairies, Dmart, IDFC, ZoHo, HDFC, Innov source, Vdart, Infosys etc. The highest pakage of our college placement is 4 lakh per annum. 70% of the students have got placements. My plan is to get a job as a HR.

Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

LIFE AT UNOM

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
