Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very interesting. Since I am very much interested in nutrition I took up this course. We also have lab sessions that give us practical experience. We had a very well planned academic schedule. So we didn't face any issues.

Placement Experience :

The institute is one of the top notch institutes in New Delhi. It is ranked 9th in NIRF. So students easily get jobs and some of them prepare for higher education. Internships are also offered . A stipend of 10,000 is offered to the students. Students get placed in well known firms like Cipla, Apollo hospitals and IPCA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's a 5 year course for PhD students . The students can choose between streams of clinical nutrition, Epidemiology and Biomedical sciences. The total course fee amounts to 95,000 for 4 years. The breakup of the fee structure is Year 1: 33,000 Year 2,3and 4:13,000 Year 5:23,000

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are quite good. Students also have access to a well furnished gymnasium that helps them to relax and keep themselves fit. There are spacious rooms to conduct different activities and programs.

Admission :

For the first stage we are supposed to apply online. Entrance examination is conducted . Exams for PhD are conducted bianually. Students are shortlisted based on merit and are further called for personal interview.

Faculty :

The faculty are really patient and helpful. They are professionals in various fields. Personally I would say that they were immensely helpful in developing interest in domains that didn't intrigue me before.

It all started when I went in my 3rd year of master degree as I was eligible for applying in PhD.I quickly filled this university application form which was available online and offline for rupees 200. With this, they had a aptitude test with an interview after which they granted me admission.

Placement Experience:

No there was no facility of recruitments as well as internships in this university. But there were some finances training opportunities for the students like us. Many of my batchmates was already having some kind of jobs so this factor never affected us

Admission:

My admission for the Ph.D. research fellowship was done on the basis of NET/NEET qualifications. I had to create an account on their admission portal and submit all my details, along with all my documents. There was a direct interview followed by a departmental assessment. There is an application fee of 1000 INR.

Placement Experience:

There are a lot of opportunities to learn and grow more. This is more like a full time job, and most of the time will be spent doing lab work and such. Many offers came to me soon after completing my PhD thanks to the reputation of the organisation.

Admission:

The candidate has to have a minimum requirement of a masters degree in planning education or any other similar field of study. After applying for the college, I attended an entrance exam conducted by the college which was followed by a personal interview by the college officials.

Placement Experience:

The college helps us by financially supporting our research and projects but there are no official campus placements for students in PhD or M.Phil. We can complete our project research and go as staffs in colleges or for an off-campus job hunt. The stipend provided is sufficient for the student to survive during his/her study time.

For any PhD, it is mandatory that you have a masters degree in the related field, I have completed my M.Phil in educational planning. I applied in this college for PhD and then got a call for attending the entrance test, I cleared it and after an interview with some faculties, I got the admission.

Placement Experience:

PhD students in any college are provided with a stipend, it is the same in this college too, we are provided with a decent stipend, the college also funds our research and other project-related works but as of now for M.Phil and PhD candidates there are no campus placements.

I decided to pursue a PhD in Physics. IIT-Delhi is rich in imparting knowledge and offers a wide infrastructural advantage. At IIT-Delhi clearing NET examination is mandatory after which interviews are conducted twice in a year (in May for July session and in Nov-Dec for January session). After the interview the shortlisted candidates are allowed to interact with their choice of supervisors and with the mutual consent of student and supervisor, one can join the Ph. D. course
