Course Curriculum Overview :
We have about 8-9 papers per semester, subjects like horticulture, soil testing and other interesting subjects. We have both practical and theory classes, it is the practical sessions where we learn a lot, the classes are equally interesting and rarely hectic.
Placement Experience :
In this field, we never run out of employment opportunities, one way or the other we somehow get a job, as there is a high demand for the Agri. Students. Many companies come here for recruiting, we are also offered fellowships in certain well-known institutes which is also a source of income for us as students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is feasible, it is not higher than the other Agri colleges in this region, the course fee for the first year is Rs. 45,100 and for the second year, it is Rs. 43,600, a total of Rs. 88,700 for the whole course of two years. There are education loan facilities that can be availed from any centralized banks.
Campus Life :
The college is a multicultural college, no one is discriminated. We celebrate all the festivals equally on this campus. The college has great facilities for sports like a complex where we play cricket and other games. The college organizes intercollege sports and cultural programs where we get to showcase our talents in fields like dancing and music.
Hostel Facilities :
Many of you are not aware of the fact that this is a residential college. We have all the essential facilities in the hostel itself, it almost feels like home. UG students are put three in a room and PG students have a single room, there are bathrooms attached to the rooms hence there is no waiting during emergency hours. The fee is also very affordable.
Alumni/Alumna :
All the alumni are closely connected with the college, it is a strong network, updated every time a batch passed out of the college. Our seniors help us a lot in situations like finding jobs or higher studies ideas, some of them are in respectable positions because of their hard work, we learn a lot from them.
Admission :
After completing my Undergraduate exams I wrote the CET (Common entrance test) for this college and obtained a good score, I was then called for counselling during which you are wanted to select the campus in which you want to pursue your degree, after selection, the admission process takes place with necessary document verifications and hostel booking.
Faculty :
All the faculties are highly trained, experienced professionals with a high degree of knowledge in the subjects they teach. We learn a lot from them and their projects. Many of them are PhD holders, during our final project and paper publishing works they guide us and help us in a lot of ways.
