Remarks :

The college is good the environment to learn is good and also having an experinced faculty wich makes the students progess in future. The college campus is clean and hygenic. The students can learn a lot more and will not regret gettung their addmision done here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good course of four years having 45 theory papers 20+ practical papers projects seminar and implant training also,The syllabus needs some modifications. Total 8 exams in 8 semesters in own campus and to score good marks a good concept is required.

Placement Experience :

No pacements. But its sure to have in the coming days. The companies and different agencies will have interest in the students capability and will have 100% placement very soon. The college is under technical education wil have a good scope of having placements

College Events :

Cultural day in which we have programs and wear our traditional dresses . INSIGNIA, here we have a tech fest where we have esports tournaments incuding counter strike, mobile legends, pubg, dota, etc .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee stucture is low and affordable for any common person. The fees will never exceed 7000 in total for 1 semester. There are 2 semester in one year and in which about 11k to 12 k would be spent for a student. Hostelers will have a higher cost of expenditure

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit cum means scholarship for poor and meritorious students students are enabled to get a stipend depending on their fathers income and also half and full wavier of TUTION fees for poor students.Money is not a bar to education here.

Campus Life :

Yes the are really good . Thr soprts is held of month of march or april . We have a comupter lab,chemistry lab, physics lab, fashion designing lab, woarkshop for engineering students, survey lab, hydraulic lab etc

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they help especially in finding colleges for more and higher studies outside the state. The alumni are all linked together and also visit the college in some special occasions or events in the college.

Admission :

West Bengal joint entrance exam counseling. Getting a good rank in west Bengal joint entrance exam and therefore filling choices of preferred institutions and getting a seat in desired college and desired stream.

Faculty :

The faculty is quite good and also highly qualified and experienced. The faculty are good with cheerful and also have a hygenic mindset making the college a clean and green place to study. The faculty is about 40 to 50 in total

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

From seventh semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are like TCS, Cognizant, infosys, mindtree and many others. The avg pkg is 6 lpa and highest is 12 lpa. 90 percent students gets placed.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
