Remarks :

I personally have no negative remarks about the institute and coming to the positive ones, I just want to tell that, this is definitely one of the best colleges in Hyderabad for the MBA course. Keeping aside the acadamics, it actually makes students learns many things such as developing your own personality, increasing confidence, managing things, building relations, understanding people etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to Osmania University. The course consists of different specialisations such as finance, marketing, human resource, computers etc. But, the college only provides classes for finance, marketing and human resource. The duration of the course is of four semesters. Each semester exam is conducted with a time gap of 4-6 months. The first two semesters, all the students are taught the same subjects. They have to choose their specialisation in the third semester and are taught according to their specializations.

Placement Experience :

There are good placement oppurtunites for students of all the specializations. Companies start arriving the college from the starting of third sem. The college doesn't provide any kind of internship. But, it invites companies privinding internships to the campus to recruit students.

College Events :

A lot of events are celebrated in the college. The college has its own tradition of organising the college fest called as 'Udhyathi'. It is organised every year for two days. Many formal and informal events are organised in those two days. Students from different colleges are invited for the fests and the winners of those events are awarded with prizes and sometimes rewarded with money. Other than the college fest, the college alse celebrates Annual day, Traditional day, Republic day, Independence day, Teachers' day and many more events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

After observing the infrastructure of the building, the faculty and all the amenities provided by the college, my opinion is that the fee structure is not too expensive. Its a bit more when compared to other colleges but, the college provides a lot of facilities which the colleges with lakhs of fees doesn't provide.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college actually doesn't provide any special scholarships to the students. But, the scholarships which are provided by the government to the students belonging to lower caste and lower income groups are accepted by the college. So, eventually, it provides opportunities to the poor students.

Campus Life :

There are two computer labs for the two sections of students. The labs have sufficient number of systems. There is huge play ground in the campus for football and crickets. It also has volley ball, badminton and basket ball grounds. There is a sheltered room with facilities for all the indoor games such as table tennis, chess, cartons etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni students who have become very successful in their careers are often invited by the management to inspire, guide and motivate the present students. There are interaction sessions where the senior students come and interact with the seniors. There are no restrictions for juniors or seniors to meet each other.

Admission :

In order to join the MBA course, I had written ICET exam and then I during the counselling I chose this college. Since, I had a good rank in the entrance exam, the college was alloted to me. Then, I went to the institute, took the admission, submitted all the required certificates in the college and paid the fee mentioned. This is how I took my admission in the institution.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college are qualified, well experienced, talented and have a great knowledge of the subjects. They are very friendly, hard working and patient. They try to make students participate in different activities. They conduct different activities to improve and motivate students. They guide students towards achieving their goals. They help in improving students' abilities so that they get selected in the placements.

I think MBA was good structure in the market. But if the students was completing MBA through this college was not worth in the market. Because they can't teach according to the latest technology. In the interviews also they are asking the latest technological questions which was not find in my MBA.

Remarks:

IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Master?Ûªs from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around ?â_1000. I had to submit 12th marksheet in which I scored 82%, graduation marksheet with 78% and appeared for CAT exam scoring 150 and deposited documents supprting work experience for at least 2 years. After following the process I got selected for personal interview round.

Admission:

I was called for the personal interview that was taken by team of 3 senior professors. They questioned me about current affairs and my opinion on certain issues. I was really confident in answering and able to answer all the questions. Finally I was selected!

From the 4th Semester, we are eligible for placements. As I'm the Second semester I have not attended placements, but I have attended internships a lot from the college. Avg package of college in the past few years are 5 LPA. First class students get opportunities more to get placements. By getting off from college I need to get a good placement and then wanna start a business by using the tips learnt from college.

Remarks:

Campus Life, exposure, AVG CTC. I have been in the college and I felt about various disciplines that the organisation teaches. Mentioned points are the reason for my selection of the college. It's easy then other colleges to get addmission in any one of IBS campuses but if you want IBS Hyderabad then you need to work on it.

Placement Experience:

I would say it's hard for you to get unplaced in the program though it may happen you wouldn't be getting your dream job but according to your performance you will be placed as placement cell team of IBS Hyderabad is good.
