Remarks :

The college was very good. I miss those friends like teachers in our college m they were very supportive towards us. The college was very disciplined and the students too. The working of clerical people in various departments was too good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was the latest as the college was autonomous. All the recent trending technology was there in a syllabus. The exam structure was a semester pattern and there were unit tests and prelims too.

Placement Experience :

No there was no internship for the graduate student but there was an internship for the post-graduate student. The internship is carried out by some teachers of the training and placement department.

College Events :

There was a list of events celebrated in our college. Fresher party Teachers day Diwali celebrate Durga Pooja celebration. New year celebration Annual function. Seminar and guest lecture Gathering function.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there was no such facility given to the student of the general and open category. All the facility was given to the student of SC and ST category. The college is trying to give some compensation to the other category also.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni of the college were very good. They always support us in our academics and all the other problem in our life. There was a good tuning between us and our senior batch mates. We used to hang out together.

Admission :

First, appear in JEE mains exam then JEE main rank is allotted then I appear in joint admission committee and committee allot the college in rank wise and then college allots in different counseling like first, second, third and spot round counseling then allot the seat.

Faculty :

The faculty experienced. All were the matter of their respective subject. The way of teaching was very good doubts were clear regular. The extra session was taken if some topic is not clear to the student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. The curriculum at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive education that balances theoretical foundations with practical applications. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
