Raghav Jha's Review On Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College Of Hotel Management And Catering Technology, Nagpur

Remarks :

they focus on earning more and more money from the students in form of fine for coming late to the college, for the dressing and etc

Course Curriculum Overview :

yes the college helped and groomed student for the industry but there were no enough campus so all the effort goes in vain for the placement though it can help student in future for searching jobs individually, there was 2 industry visit and were chargeable

Placement Experience :

in our college brochure it was mentioned that more than 28 industry will come for the placement though in final year only 3 of them appeared and have limited seat, more number of students were there also alumns were present, the industry were the oberoi, dominoz and Radisson blu

College Events :

well there was only one festival celebrate in our college name as tandoori nights it was celebrated 5 days, all of the student has to participate in that function or has to pay heavy clearance and face management, in this festival one has to bring sponsors for the event or pay from there wallet if failed to bring sponsor. another fine scam

Fee Structure And Facilities :

the fee structure was not quite expensive though some students were belongs to poor family and has faced difficulty, there was E.M.I option available for everyone, college charge extra money in form of fine and clearance for non presenty in class and huge clearance

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

no there was no scholarship for the students, one has to oqy the full amount of the fee, though there was option for pay in instalments.

Campus Life :

gender ratios was 1girl for 10boys, and in my opinion there was not any campus only classrooms and lecture no extracurricular activity no sports or labs expect practical kitchen lab where we students practice making food and practising restaurant service, and no debates at all.

Hostel Facilities :

no, there was no hostel facility in our college or campus one has to find him or herself a p.g or rent a room nearby the college, though many of the students were from outside of tge city but despite that management didnt care at all.

Alumni/Alumna :

well senior's in the college were like they were godfather of juniors, they always command on every junior, the alumni network they work in big hotels and does not helped recommendation in hotel and not very much in touch of college

Admission :

to take addmission in this college one has to give entrance exam mh-cet, though the number did not matter but exam was compulsory to have a place in college, i opt for the college because it was in my city and was nearby my home, i had got less number in my 12th standard so i got depressed and had to choose a course which will be easy to pass in graduation

Faculty :

there were more than 10 lecturers in my college one for theory and another one for lecture for same subject, the intresting part is the hod and principle also were lecturer and had done phd in particular subject and most of the teacher were from our industry only

Placement Experience:

70% of students get the placements in five star properties. In foreign countries also. My plans after getting the degree are to do a job as a chef in any 5star property in Mumbai or in any foreign country. And after some years. I want to open my own restaurant.

Remarks:

There are very positive remarks one of which is teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. This particular course helps students to develop their soft skill. The curriculum is designed so well that it forces you to get out of your comfort zone and grow as person. I can't say anything was bad. There were things which could be improved such as Proper locker Room and changing room for students but this issue was solved later on when I was about to finish my degree.

Remarks:

Over and above academics and technical skills, one of the more important things the college imbibed in us were values. The college to me is an ideal hotel management institution. If you have the drive in you to make it big in the hotel industry, leave the rest to the team at Rizvi College and they will make you shine.

Remarks:

I don't think I could think of any bad remark but I would like if the college had a personal ground for the students even though we can go to the shivaji park ground for certain activities. The faculty, the food , the accommodation and everything is very good and adjustable. The only issue you might face is the absence of all class being air conditioned because the atmosphere of Mumbai is really challenging But the institution is all together very good.
